I was going to start bathing my crew before the holiday season but it would be a waste with this rain plus its the daughter's last day here so tomorrow is another day - or so they say.
It's wet. muddy and the dogs are bringing in mud each time they walk inside.
Why can't it snow vs. rain? It's so much extra work to clean dogs in rain - plain and simple if you have a few dogs to do. One - no issue - 2 no issue...
Jeannie rather loves playing with Bobbie Ann and will miss her tomorrow.
I think Jeannie is a play monkey and she is calming down.
This duo played nonstop over and over again all morning and now everyone is napping.
How can you minimize wet, muddy cleanup? Leave them on the tile. Throw a blanket or towel down - something old but absorbent. Make sure the room is warm. Let their feet dry and brush it out. Only wash the feet or the under carriage if needed when it is the end of the day. Most times the dirt will fall off especially if you use Show Sheen after a bath on their coat.
I always keep towels at the back door so I can walk around with them to dry up the wet or my mop like a swiffer in the kitchen for quick pickup but have extra pads if you are using a swiffer. You don't want to just move that dirt around. You want to pick it up - well at least I do.
