Sorry but with family over I didn't get much done. Our daughter, son-in-law, grand kids and my other daughter and grandkids was here. One of the daughters drove up from North Carolina. They were ever so tired and our groomer daughter Kendra also had an abscessed tooth putting her in serious pain. I will see them 1 more time on Sunday out in Grand Bend and then they will be departing from the cottage. Wish we too could have gone to the cottage but we have things going on here. Next year maybe. I only get to see them once a year.

Here's some of the family photos and Roxie is in some going and going and going. She managed to swim literally for hours and hours.

Nathan spent most of the time with the dogs with this grand kid or that or that daughter or that going in to sit with him as Dennis decided to weed and spend time with the family but didn't swim. He wanted to make sure I had time with the family despite me asking him several times to switch places. It was great he came out at the end and Dennis relieved him. We also had the dogs out off and on all day but brought them in when they got too crazy excited when the kids were jumping in the pool. Only Roxie stayed out the entire time swimming and swimming and swimming. I have NO IDEA where she got this energy. The rest came out off and on throughout. It was a great day for dogs and humans.

Thanks goes to Lynda for saying no grooming the dogs today. I will catch up Monday - promise - no need to touch.

Thanks goes to Shannon for understanding I was with family. I am sure Nathan was sufficient. WE love Levon and Trigger. They are great!

We also have Finn departing tomorrow. His stitches are clean. He is wearing a onsie that I had (new one). I got some dogs brushed but will play catch-up on the rest tomorrow.

The daughter was in love with Phantom, Adele, Finn, Pippin and shall I go on? When they arrived Levon and Trigger already departed. She's a real dog person and grooms for a living.

I am exhausted but it was a truly great day. Can't wait till Sunday and will be sorry when Sunday goes by too quick.

Tomorrow I try out my new brushes the groomer daughter brought me (2) as a present. Only a groomer understands what another groomer needs. :-) I am deeply touched!
