Taking Photos: Gallery Added

Darlah

I don't pose dogs. I just capture them as they are - ala natural. So, I gave Dallas a bath, a haircut, layered her head and snipped around the inside of the eye so she could see and then tried to capture her. I would brush, then try to click and she rolled, she smooshed her face, she rolled. It was a riot. On the table when giving her a haircut we played, I snipped, we played, I snipped. She was a riot and such a challenge that I had to laugh. You see she's not used to thinning shears being near her eyes. Next time she will go - okay that's what that is. Feet, bum, body - no problem. It took me 10 minutes to bathe her and 2 hours to give her a haircut and dry her. But when we were done, she kissed me all over, played with me and it made it all worth it. She also didn't mind being on the table for so long as she was having fun. That's the key.

I will try to get a gallery up. We have some new dogs visiting and well cause I was grooming etc I have to see what Nathan captured. I am also very late in updates. Oh well - my life and it started at 5am today.

Okay enough juggling. There are VERY few photos in this gallery but when I said to Nathan did you take photos he said, not many. I played with the dogs vs. clicking. Hope that is okay. I said yes, of course. Hope you feel the same. We have Ragus here (not one of ours and has not been here in a long time) and his housemate Buster. Nathan wanted to make sure they felt very comfie. It's what we do. If someone hasn't been here for awhile we treat them as if they are new and we make sure they connect. When they connect with another, they are having a good time. We have never not been able to do this but how long it takes varies. But so good for them and for us. It really is important to us if the dogs are enjoying. It is what makes us smile.

Lynda invited me out tomorrow night so all 3 blogs will be short and sweet. I have not been out for a LONG time - not even to the grocery store so.... I am going and so appreciative as a break from non stop work will be fun. Hope you do not mind.
