Too Cold a Day

Cooper is here putting on birthday hats and humans clicking to send a birthday greeting to his human dad sunning on a beach. Cooper says - really?
Oh Cooper is having fun but he wasn't happy about staging these photos with THAT hat. Happy Birthday Russell.
Dogs are too cold today. We had a ton of lifting paws. But they still managed to have a lot of fun. We didn't have crazy insane running like the day before but they did play. They went out them in then out then in on and on and on. Each time they went out they went hey why can't we be on that beach with Anne and Russell. Here are a few photos from today. Everyone got brushed and combed up but now Dennis and Jon will be taking care of the crew so I can go to class with the Ella Bella.

Happy B-Day Cooper's Dad! How photogenic is Cooper?! I bet parents love to be able to see Cooper while away. Hope you're having a great time in sunny weather. I don't think we need to tell you what it's like here . . . trying to find the optimistic side . . . blue sky and sunny! Temps -30 w/ wind chill. Brrrr . How invigorating!!! LOL

Anne: We are under EXTREME cold alert. It's really bad. I think Cooper thought I was nuts.
Anne: How do you keep Cooper looking like he does? How often do you bath him and I expect you brush him every day, do you?
Happy Birthday Russell ! You can be glad you aren't home to-day since it was minus 34 in Muskoka this morning (& we're not talking windchill - that was the thermometer !)
Anne: family trait. The Scruffster absolutely HATES hats and I've seen that look before :)
Angela, we brush him every day and line comb him a few times a week, or every time he wears his muttluks as the hair gets compacted in the boots. He gets a bath at Groomindales in Huntsville once a week. Russell does most of the brushing although I do quite a bit as well, and line combing. It takes no more than 10 minutes a day BUT we only have one dog and we are retired so we have the time :-).
