So Busy

I was so busy playing with the pups and dogs that I didn't click today. I am sorry - so no photos.

We found an amazing home for Clarity. Angela has been asking for a dog that was a tad older for quite sometime. We have been sitting on the fence - shall we keep - does she have another journey. We love her to bits but we will see her and for that I am thankful. She will be heading to Patches home after her classes are completed. That's another 2 classes. It's extra hard with the older ones but Angela is amazing so....

Tiny was here. Ella wouldn't play with him at first. He barked lets play. She was playing hard to get but finally they were rolling and playing their hearts out. Then Dusty, Lila and Zoe jumped in and it was grand laughing fun.

Everyone got brushed out today but you can't tell.

It's been a day... Haven't had time to play with the Gopro except to do the videos. I need to perfect my skills. I will - eventually!

We are truly blessed to be given the opportunity to have Clarity join our family and be a best buddy for Patches. Gigantic thanks to Darlah and Nathan for letting this happen. We are very excited.

I should have added that the weekly play dates with Patches' sister Abby will continue. What fun we will all have.

Angela and Ed you are truly fortunate to get Clarity joining your family. I have been trying for ages to get my husband to accept a second dog into our house. I am sure you are in for lots of fun play and of course visits to Talemaker's camp always looks like fun in the pictures.

Great news. How lucky everyone is. Clarity my beauty will have a terrific home and Patches a playmate. Angela and Ed we enjoyed our classes together and we know that Clarity will love her forever home. Enjoy.

Thank you everyone. As I said, we are grateful and excited.

Marilyne: I have always been a big dog lover. When I met my husband many, many years ago I was living in a rented flat with a dog and a cat. Not long after, we acquired another dog. So, we have lived with either 2 or 3 dogs at a time along with our cat (until she passed) for all of our married lives. We lost both our most recent (before Patches) older dogs last September as fate would have it and our third dog of that group at the end of 2012. Having multiple dogs is second nature to us. But, Patches is our first Havanese and we have fallen totally in love once again. At our ages, with Clarity, our family will be complete.

Ronnie: Patches, Ed and I really enjoyed the classes too with everyone and can't wait to get together again at the annual picnics at the very least. Big hugs to wonderful Rusty!!

Congratulations, Angela & Family! Clarity is a beautiful little girl. I totally get having more than one dog. I recently lost both my 14 & 15 year old dogs. When Toby passed in November, I decided to research purebreds that were similar to my dogs in nature, size, etc. This led me to the Havanese and very quickly to Talemaker! When Charlie passed in February, I immediatelhy contacted Nathan again and am now so looking forward to being a Talemaker mom, hopefully this fall. I never regretted having two dogs at once, and will also welcome a second havanese into my family once the new puppy is well adjusted and trained.

Christine: I have never regretted having two dogs at the same time either, rather, I have always seen the benefits of it. Patches is well adjusted, it is in her nature, and has completed Puppy PreSchool classes, Family Dog Beginner classes, and will complete Practical Living Intermediate classes this Saturday. She loves other dogs to pieces, especially her sister Abby, and I see the joy playing with another Havanese especially brings to her life. I can see Patches and Clarity growing up playing with and loving each other and being a total joy for us (with darling Abby's help of course)!!
