Lots of Rain But Pool

We tried to get pool time inbetween pups going home. No one and I mean no one wanted to go in but Daisy who jumped right off the stairs and Kat, Roxie, Ella and we got Saffron in. Saffron was a sinker the first try. What I mean is she really would have sunk as she had no clue and she did poorly. I went oh oh not a swimmer. Nathan tried her 2 more times and you will have to watch the video to see what happened.

Sorry I just didn't get around to more photos but Shannon I will do so tomorrow. Your duo was really playing too. Coco and Lucy were really playing. Coco departs tomorrow and Lucy - well she went home with PJ.

Ella says, I think I can do that too!

Much to our delight she did too. Oh my gad we have another swimmer. Even Roxie jumped off the side first but not Ella who decided to jump off the diving board. When they are wet I can almost not tell Roxie and Ella apart.

More photos tomorrow. We have 3 pups departing tomorrow. So I had baths to do, photos etc so now you get it, I am sure. I wanted to go to the farmers market but maybe tomorrow after the pups depart.

PS: Anyone have a good source for water plants? I have 2 water pots to fill.

If you don't mind a drive, Vandermeer in Ajax has great water plants. I've also seen some at Sheridan.

Not surprised to hear Daisy Belle went into the pool. If you walk her and there are any puddles, that darn dog will sit right in the middle of it! I get into so much trouble with her mum for getting her dirty. It was sweet to hear your voice on the video when Ella jumped in. A very proud human mom!

Sue, I bet you do. hahahahaha Thanks - I am so proud.

Daisy is a riot. She didn't ask. She just went and went and went. It is why we are always out with the dogs. Oh and she knew the way out too. No slouch there!

Christine, I used to go to Picovs. never been to Vandermeer. Now to find the time. Thanks though Sheridan is closer!

I also went to Picovs. Vandermeer took over as the "pond specialists" when Picovs got out of the business. They also have wonderful annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, and statuary. A great place to check out when (or should I say if) you get the time.

I have to tell you, I am so going to miss the videos and galleries of these pups. It's been a real experience seeing pics of the births and then watching them grow on a daily basis. Kept my spirits up, made me smile and often chuckle out loud! Thank you!

I agree Christine! I enjoy reading the blogs, looking at all the pictures and watching the videos with Abby. Every day I check to see what the moms and pups are up to! They will be missed. So I hope the new families will continue to send updates, photos and videos of their new puppies. We will be waiting to hear how they all adjust to their forever homes.

The swimming video was adorable. I will definitely send updates as Murphy adjusts to her new home. Hope others do too!

The swimming video was so sweet. Mom watching Saffron. I love watching the pups grow. Almost like having them at home. Wishing the forever families lots of pleasure with their little ones.

I used to go to Picov's too! Now, I get most of my summer stuff from Vandermeer. You can't beat them, imho, for variety and price. They also give you a 2.5 yr warranty on any perennials, nursery stock etc. Although, Darlah, I know you are trying to get rid of divisions of yours!!

Every Talemaker litter is like your own when you have a wonderful Talemaker pup already. It is wonderful to see them go on their journeys, love each and every one. They are such little characters.
