Another Cool Day

Another non-pool day.

Teddy dropped in and he is ever so comfie here. He has such a bounce in his step these days!

Look who knows he is the prince of the house. heh

Did you know Roxie still cleans Ella up.

Jeannie is adjusting.

Panda was so excited to see Reggie and he was so excited to see her! He sniffed and looked around for her till he saw her and went crazy!

Truffie was highly curious with what I was doing in the garden. I weeded for 3 hours and hardly made a dent.

Chair time was frequent today and soon we will be doing tv time.

Oscar gives me face kisses much like Spice does.

Trigger prefers the chairs and Levon prefers the cement much like Risa.

Levon gives me snuggles especially when I have popcorn. heh

Can I play with Saffron, please?

Just Chillin'

Look at all those weeds... soon to be gone till they grow again. ;-)

We had a great day but its time to lay in that recliner with the dogs and try not to move. Weeding is so much fun.... not when there is just no end in sight.

Hoping for warmth tomorrow.

Did I see Cooper ?
I hope that Jeannie adjusts soon. It will be nice for her when one or two of her pups come back for a visit. It must be difficult for the moms.

I do not know where all those weeds come from. It seems like as soon as you finish more have arrived.

So nice to see all the dogs play with each other. I give you a lot of credit Darlah. If I weeded for three hours i wouldn't be able to stand up. It will be a weekend chore fore me too.

No Cooper - Logan perhaps??

I like when the weeding is done but not a fan of the process as I have so much to do in the backyard and then the front and side. No excuses without pups but wonder why its just me doing the work.

Hi Darlah, panda seems to be on pool patrol. What a riot. I have a tip for getting rid of weeds whcich you probably know about and that is using hot water, vinegar and salt and pouring it on. The best part is they die and don't come back. You can only use it on weeds in areas where there is no other plant growth that you do want to keep .
Enjoy!

Lynda: We used it one year around the pool between the pavers and they still come back. I would love to stop the weeds in the pavers permanently. First few years we had none as we have landscaping cloth but years later we weed about 6 times a season. We used home made concoction, chemicals, and they come back. The garden beds are a chore - back at it again today perhaps. After I get the back done I will do the front and guess what the back will need to be done again. Dennis will finish the pavers.

Panda was so happy yesterday as she had Reggie here. He's here till Sunday.

I find June is the worst month for the weeds, and I too agree that as soon as you finish they are up again where you started. If nothing else, a weed is only a plant you don't want there so we can always say "I like that plant, it is not a weed" lol

Lovely pics of all the dogs. No matter how a Havanese is groomed, they are beautiful, aren't they?? I think I am hooked, change that to "I know I am hooked"!!

I saw Panda, so I should have known Logan was also visiting.

Logan and Panda are here daily. Brewer is here a few times a week. This way they can play, get brushed out and humans can spend quality time with them when they go home without the grooming. :-) Keep trying to get the dogs in the pool especially Levon and Trigger as they depart but rain, rain, rain. You wil see it coming down in a video I am putting up in the Spice blog.
