Oh My
First thing this morning Charlie decided to jump in - not fall in the pool. He found his way to the stairs just fine. Nathan combed him out and we let him air dry seeing he's not departing till next week. He gets totally dry and I am watering the plants and he jumps in again. This time I picked him out of the water, told him no and wrapped him with a towel. Off I went to blow dry him. I figure if he had to be blow dried he may not do it again and he hasn't but him and Ella are teasing me like mischievous children.
There is a reason we are always out with the dogs. You never know what they have in mind.
Today was not the day for a pool day even though the weather was good. I was dematting a dog for 5 hours and no I will not tell you who but between my hands aching and my lack of having a pool day, no one else went in. I also did Magic before this. She has such lovely hair. Got her trimmed up and she looks gorgeous but realized I didn't get to click any photos or did I of her. She just came and departed at noon.
I have Cooper to brush out in the morning and I think I will take a day break tomorrow and try to do the pool. Cooper has been trying to practice Inula's moves in jumping over the day lilies. Instead of soaring over he tends to barrel on through. I think its a strategic move to get Inula. I watched them while I was watering but no camera outside and then of course Charlie embraced the pool. hahaha
Charlie's sister is here Maddie (Clarity's siblings). They are Panda babies. Maddie has yet to try to get in the pool but she has short hair so maybe tomorrow we will try. Full of life Sadie is here too with a haircut so you may not recognize her but she is a riot still but so is Maddie who hasn't hit the off switch yet.
I am really really tired but here is a gallery. Just some clicks I managed here and there inbetween what I had on my plate. I didn't get everyone but I think it was a miracle to get what I did.

I can't imagine dematting for 5 hours. You really shouldn't have to do that and that poor doggie...l
Angela: In this case it was poor me as I didn't hurt him though it was stress-filled to be groomed that long. Its why it took so long. It is tedious and hard on the hands as you spray, pull each apart and sometimes have to cut through to open it up allowing you to pull apart. The moral of this story is do not wash your dog when they have knots or they become mats. Too many do not know that they actually tighten and felt up. Now they know so I was playing recovery for an oops.
DO NOT WASH A DOG WITH KNOTS. THEY WILL GET WORSE.
Love the doggie in the window shot. Also like the line up 5 dogs looking at the pool.
Love the doggie in the window shots too.
Hi. I am back. The cottage was great but family crisis has kept me busy. Rusty is fine. Loved the cottage and the boat. Darlah I loved the gallery. They are so sweet and mischievous looking. "what can I do next...where are those humans". Nice to hear that the picnic was a success. Not surprising. Hope that Danielle is recuperating. It is an adjustment.
Darlah: I wasn't saying poor doggie for the dematting process although, as you say, that must have been tough sitting that long, but for how the dog must have felt with all those matts in the hair. It must have pulled the skin a lot, especially those close to the skin. After your dematting he must have felt so much better.
I think the knots were not tight or I assume so. They washed and then they were. Hair that is washed with knots felt up or get tighter. My hands are on fire today. I may do Cooper and no one else to allow my hands (in this case both) to recover.
Ronnie: You mention a family crisis. Is there anything we can do to help?
Nathan did Cooper, Hope he is good enough, What a nice surprise. He feels good!
Nathan did a great job with the Coop... Not sure who did the top knot but he looks cheeky! He had a great time and looks and feels wonderful as always!
