Exhausted

Here's today's gallery. We have had rain. Then muggy hot and then sprinkles and then hot steamy sun. It's been a day. Get the floor done and mud gets tracked in oh every 5 minutes or so. Holly and Olive are playing up a storm with Saffron. I have groomed and groomed everyone. I give up till tomorrow. I even groomed an unknown named dog that wasn't thrilled with it. Goal, get that turned around. I have a mission. heh

Tonight a gal comes in for Truffie. We need to pick her up from the airport. Truffie will be thrilled, Envy and Kat not so much. Its okay. Envy will go back on Monday and well Kat has to deal. We look forward to seeing what this combo produces.

Everyone is eating well. Playing, soaking the couches with wet bodies and feet. Life is good. It's a dog's life.

I am tired. Been doing a heavy grooming schedule. Love to be swimming. Is it really going to be 40c Sunday?

What shenanigans these doggies get up to. But, have you ever seen more beautiful dogs? I must admit I am now certainly hooked on Havanese in a big way.

Love the picture of Saffron with her tongue hanging out.

Angela I didn't realize that Rusty was playing with your Patches on Wednesday. She has been cut since we saw her in the winter. Rusty has a crush on Patches. He doesn't leave her be. Nice to hear you are planning on increasing the family.

Ronnie, hi! Missed you at the picnic but I know you were away. Yes, Patches was clipped short. She was going to be spayed so I thought it would be easier on her for brushing out if she was in a short cut through her recovery. Having had a Poodle and 4 Schnauzers plus other dogs in our past, I know very well that her hair will grow back, and quickly, if we want to leave her long. We can decide that when she has her full adult coat in. Yes, we are getting a pup when our number comes up on the list. We are excited. We decided to get a 10 week old pup so the pup can become accustomed to the activity around our house. We back onto a walking trail which is very visible from our house and back yard in the winter months when the leaves are down. When we have had a pup from a baby they seem to become accustomed to the activity. We have had multiple pets for 40+ years, so for us and for Patches we are ready to get her a full-time friend.

Rafi is doing WONDERFUL. He doesn't want to swim and he hates the heat but every single dog here felt that way today. He is being social, loving and he's rather a great guy - truly!
