Very Steamy

Here's a very small gallery. I apologize but I don't have many. We were busy today. We had 2 families come to see the rescue and we had a visit from Tre's brother. Can you recognize him, Gerda? He recognized us and was over the moon happy to see us.

It was steamy hot today. They dogs went out, they came right back in and tomorrow is going to be the same. Dennis ran laps with them upstairs and was chillin on the couch in the tv room. Its not that the temps were extreme but it was humid as ever. It almost took your breath away.

Everyone is having fun. You also get to see Mia who is visiting us or shall I say visiting Truffie.

Poor Kat is having a heart attack. You can't always get what you want. heh

Kobe! Wow what a difference with the short cut. I see the resemblance in the eyes and smile. Looks like Tre when he is wet from a bath. Soo cute. Must get them together again one year. Thanks for the photos!

Kobe is a handsome boy. You can tell that Tre and Kobe are brothers/ twins.

I like the warm weather but really dislike the humidity at this level.

Poor Kat, he must be 'going out of his mind' I feel terrible for him.

Yes, Kat is not a happy boy. He's very grouchy. This too shall pass - hopefully soon. Envy departs on Monday. Spice appears to be already out and Roxie does too but they are now keeping Mia company.

Mia is related to Jeannie. She looks a lot like her. Will be interesting to see what the pups look like.

Gerda, look at it this way at least you can see what Tre would look like with short hair without cutting him.

I'm really liking those side and double knots. Almost makes me want to grow out Clarity's hair ... almost.

I also like those double top knots, I think they are cute. I tried to do one on Cooper the other day but it didn't suit him.....Risa looks lovely with her top knot and little pink bow.

I could never do knots on Rusty and Sam thought it was too girly so we cut Rusty's hair. And now he looks like a little boy.

Ronnie: Everyone has their own perspective of what a 'boy' is supposed to look like but my boys have ponytails and they don't look like girls and PJ went home with one and he doesn't look like a girl. The show world is filled with long haired breed boys in ponytails. If you like short on the top, then that is your choice and that is okay. I happened to hate the shaved flat top look. I don't mind the layered look. But personally I like my boys like my boys. We each have different ideas and that's appreciated and valued. But honestly my boys have never looked like girls and neither did my hubby when he had a ponytail.

Anne: The duo ponytails is what we use often in the show ring as it breaks less. It also lays better. I have had Kat and Truffie in duo ponytails. Paula puts all her boys in duos especially those that are showing. I guess due to the shows we have a different perspective but hair like Coopers and Magics are valued.
