One of THOSE Days

It is an emptier house but it was one of THOSE days. What do I mean? It was COLD... brrr No pups out but the adults went in many times but they didn't last. Everyone was lifting their paws. So, we did a lot of playing inside. Here is a small gallery.

Good news. It is getting warmer tomorrow. It's getting up to a whopping -4 and Wednesday 0. We are really heating things up here. heh

We are down to the wire. We have 7 days till the daughter moves in so blogs will be short but updated. Only exception is if pups come. :-)

Brrrrr. We did have some outdoor play today but I got cold much faster than Caelen. She wanted to stay outside and play with the squirrels and the bunny hanging out in our backyard but I thought she should come inside. Caelen then plastered herself against the garden door to watch the outdoor activities. I had to laugh - she looked like a flying squirrel.

Radar wanted to keep going out on the deck with Patches. He got past my legs once and it didn't seem to bother him at all, no lifting of feet but I brought him right in, then Patches very soon after.

It looks very cold there. Kona enjoyed temps between 65 and 72 degrees F.
I am not looking forward to the cold. Thankfully we have 6 more days of Florida weather.

Just curious what temperature it is ok for dog walks. I kept Murphy home today and tomorrow morning will still be minus 9. Because it's a group walk I am concerned that she may be out too long. What do you think? Keep her in one more day?

Sherry: There is no hard and fast number. It can depend on wind chill, freezing rain etc. Today was way too cold. I hope the dog walkers are watching for signs such as lifting paws and wind chill factor. When we are under a cold weather alert its too cold.
