Wet and Mucky Day
We are exhausted from all the play and the human still has 2 dogs left to groom/bath and cut. So this blog will be short. Rocco was bathed as he will be departing tonight and so is Benji. Here is a few photos from today. I have to say there isn't a soul in the dog department that is not playing at various times of the day. It does our hearts good.
I also updated the Roxie blog as we had Alvin (still do), Mickey (just for the day and of course the twosome. It has been and continues to be a wonderful puppy fest. The adults are treating the puppies like special beings that they are. But the puppies like to get up extra early. Hoping later tomorrow.
On the 15th we will be getting Panda's xray and the duo here their shots. Our daughter is fully moving in on Monday so Monday will be a wash. We shall see how that goes. This too shall pass. hahahaha

The dogs looked like they had a riot, as usual. Good luck with the move. Although getting everything ready is a challenge, having family close makes it all worthwhile
I am going to have teenagers again.. :-)
Which dog is picture #18 of the gallery? Good luck with the teens!
Holly - she will lighten up and darken \throughout her life but as long as she is long she will have her tipping.
Darlah, you are such a great Mom. It is obvious from what you do and what you say.
We really had a ride with our teens so grand teens - hope its not as crazy. With 7 you always have someone doing something. We had some wild child free spirits - creative souls. I thought in my old age it would be quieter - yeah right.
And so writes the mom with the Creative soul herself. I'm sure there will be challenges ... That's why teenagers were put on this earth ... To keep us on our toes. 😉
Oh Darlah, I was a teenage challenge - a very independent thinker! But....if I was surrounded by dogs and puppies, I probably would have just stayed at home and snuggled with them. See, there is hope! Got to admit though, it will be much more fun to read about teenage adventures in this blog if that's not the case. 😄
I'll take the teens any day! Love them!!! Would have kept mine @ 16 if I could have.
My sons-in-laws say they're giving them all to me when their kids become teens. Actually, the oldest just turned 13.
I remember Doug and I never watching TV or going out. Our place was the place to be and we watched all the comings and going of many. :-) Fun times!
Darlah, I'm sure they'll keep you young.
Debi: We had a ton of fun with 7. But with 7 the odds are you will have something to worry about.
You have to consider that we have 2 grandkids that have entered their teen years, dealing with parents separating, moving, crohns and so much more. I don't expect it to be easy but we will manage to create memories.
Never easy in these situations, especially with the additional health challenges ... With the love and support of family and friends you get through the tough times and are able to laugh in the good ... Hope your house is filled with lots of laughter!
Karen: I was a teen challenge too in a huge way. ROFL
I understand Darlah. I think that's why we stopped after having the twins. We felt so blessed.
So many have challenges and I realize, the more you have, the more chances of some issues here and there.
Your daughters and granddaughters are very fortunate that you have opened your hearts and home to them. That in itself will be helpful to all.
I'm sure they feel very loved by you!
Darlah I have two adults that are both living at home again for some time now and both had challenges. We love them lots but we too thought we would have some quiet time in our senior years. The best thing for all of us was Rusty. Life in our house is far from quiet with health issues here too but I have to say Rusty makes each of us happy and takes away any stress that may arise from time to time. I bless you and Nathan for your wonderful caring nature which has given your children so much and have give all of us, your Talemaker families our sweet blessings too.
Me, too, Darlah ... Would push every boundary there was . My dad used to look at me as an adult and shake his head in wonderment as he muttered "don't know how you turned out so ok!" ROFL .. Sometimes I wonder as well.
