Cool and Ice

Cinnamon - Brushed REALLY!

Inside Please

Poor Brewer's dad woke up to finding his furnace didn't work on a 3 year old unit so we have the Brewer here. I surely hope they managed to fix it. Good thing it didn't happen on December 25th or I said he could come for daycare. hahahaha Got to find your sense of humor when you have these blips.

Brewer wasn't crazy about staying out too long as it is cold again. It's also icy so they can't run like they usually can.

Check out today's gallery. Tenshi is at home but I included a few that I hadn't added in.

Audrey, who owns Gidget and her sister is off to a wedding for a few days so we have some non havanese hanging out. As you can see they have made themselves comfie. All are doing really well. Dennis is going to have them sleep with him tonight and I am going to have Gidget.

We had a good family time last night. Too much roast disappeared. I wanted more leftovers but I guess it was so good that everyone ate and ate. I am quite pleased with how well everything came out. You never know when you are multi-tasking and it was just me for the most part that set everything up and cooked and the daughter helped cook at the end. I was hoping I got away from cleanup but I did with the bulk of thing but come bedtime stuff was still out so Dennis and I finished up. <sigh>

Our freezer and our dryer is starting to go. It takes 3 cycles for the dryer to dry and the freezer won't seal. We hope it lasts till after pups depart. The freezer is over 25 years old so I should celebrate its existence. The dryer has been fixed so many times that the last time the repair guy said you really need to break down and buy new.

I am ever so thankful that this group of pups only have me doing 3 or 4 loads a day.

But I think I would not be so happy if our furnace went so I feel for Brewer's dad. Count your blessings they say!

Love this picture of Cinnamon. The more dishevelled, the more fun they had getting that way! i know what you mean when the entire dinner is eaten. I hate to cook, so always make more than enough so I have leftovers for a few meals. I was disappointed when almost the entire Christmas dinner was eaten that night! ... at least it was enjoyed. ;)

Yeah... I love cooking but not crazy about clean up. I am good with using leftovers in a creative way.

Sounds like your food was yum, Christine. It tells me it was appreciated!

Oh Cinnamon, you are a cute, playful monkey! I know a sister of yours who likes this hairdo, too. Love the spirit of Spice's kids, they love everybody and know to have fun. Actually, all of your mommies and dads are fantastic, such wonderful personalities.

We found our Holly Jolly in the gallery! :-)
We miss her but we know she's having her own fun-filled vacation at your place! Thanks for posting, Darlah! Last year, our washer broke down just before Christmas...Visa bill for the washer came in right around the same time as the rest of the Christmas bills...sigh. Hope your appliances hold out for you!

Cinnamon has such a beautiful face. Love the visitors on the couch. So sweet.

Glad dinner was delicious. I hate clean up too. My friend's husband always cleans up. I wonder how she manages that. Sam usually goes up to change and I never see him until I go to bed. Oh well. Love to have the company.

Nathan doesn't disappear he just goes and watches tv. I stopped cooking large meals as I was cooking and cleaning so now I only do them on special occasions and when I feel in the mood to clean up as well. hahaha
