Muddy Times

This is Tenshi. This was the littlest gal from Saffron. What an incredible personality she has! She loves the mud though but everyone did. I rinsed feet a lot.

This is Tenshi after her bath. She looks like a new dog. She departs tonight and I am about to wash Cooper though I may wait till just before bed so he stays clean. He departs tomorrow morning. He too has black feet.

Pippin also had a bath and trim. He played and played and rather enjoyed his Brewer time!

Here is today's gallery.

Dogs had fun. I had a lot of work but I laughed and laughed and laughed! That's what it is about!

Here is the Cooper playing with Nathan!

Darlah it's amazing that you can get those dirty paws clean.

I like the photos of Nathan giving Pippin and Tenshi TLC. They show the great care and love given at Talemaker's.

Omg, it must be so much work with those black paws. Darlah, I don't know how to thank you enough to make Tenshi so nice and fluffy! What magical work you do! I just finished work and I'm looking at all pics, they are so great. Especially the ones you captured when Nathan is loving the dogs!

Glad you like how she looks and feels. She was actually good for the bath but I did have a bathing tether. I think that is the key. She had such a great time!

What a difference before and after the bath. Tenshi is beautiful. Cooper you are gorgeous. I love his beautiful hair. Darlah you are wonderful and it is so nice to see Nathan interacting with them. They do make you laugh. They say the ,ore you laugh the longer you live. That is a great reason to have a dog in the house.

Sorry to ask again but who is cooper's Mom? He has the same colouring as Rusty, his ears and tail. He is whiter but similar to Rusty.

Beautiful pictures of all of the dogs!

Ronnie, Cooper's mom is Teaser. Scruffy also has the same mom. Teaser was from Paula.

Look at those little black paws on Tenshi, and how she cleaned up so well. Beauty. Pippin is also so fluffy looking. Beautiful dogs.

We had Teaser's litters here - a couple.

Phantom is in both lines and that is why you are seeing the similarities. The issue was Teaser threw large consistently except for 1 girl out of Truffie who now lives in Hong Kong. She was too small for Paula's liking. Can't win. Paula is still miffed to this day she didn't get a dog from her direct line.

Rusty is from Roxie and Katsura. Roxie is out of Abigail and Phantom. Abigail brought something unique to Paula's lines that she didn't have.

If I was assessing each dog I see more Mugs in Cooper and I see more Teaser looks in Scruffy and body build of Phantom in Scruffy. They are both related but obviously pull their genetics differently.

I do believe Roxie is one of the best dogs I have ever produced. She's athletic, the most even keeled non reactionary dog, a swimmer and her structure is wonderful.

The dogs all looked beautiful. Darlah you have the magic grooming touch.
Roxie is indeed a very special gal, so is her daughter Ella.

I think that Nathan is like the Pied Piper when it comes to the dogs.
They all love him.

Thanks, Kathy: Today we have Emmy's pup Tucker here for a play date and grooming. Terrible weather,. Trying to keep him clean without redoing sections. hahahaha

The point in all of that is about Scruffy is Cooper that technically they are not my breedings but they are related to my dogs in a various degrees.
