What a Day

Okay no galleries today. I did manage to get everyone brushed out today but oh boy can this day go away?

Nathan started out this morning going to the podiatrist for an infected foot. He should have went days ago. Then the day began.

It's hard enough saying goodbye to the pups but the delivery guys was major late. The appliances finally got here. They are too tall so now they are plugged in hanging out in the kitchen while we try to figure out what to do with the cabinets above.

I must say I am SO glad it wasn't I who measured the space. I just shook my head and laughed. The timing wasn't great either as Gizmo's dad was waiting and he came into a disaster of a kitchen and us laughing about the fiasco. I think Nathan appreciated that I was laughing vs being mad but my motto is ^%$# happens and if you can't laugh... well you make life unbearable. There are always solutions - well I hope.

I had to put my grooming table back. I had to set up my dryers, hook up a dryer (need a new vent but I got it working till we get one) and then had to wash and take photos of 2 pups that are departing tomorrow. I can't even find all my supplies as what I needed was certainly at the bottom of a box vs. on top.

I still have a ton to put away and organize. I am blogging now and eating as I do. I have so much to do but the fridge is working cause we plugged it in despite not fitting and so is the freezer. The dryer I picked and measured fit perfectly. hahahaha

So those coming tomorrow you can laugh too as that is all we can do at the moment as we mull over a possible solution.

Great attitude, Darlah! I remember once, after a very long and hard day, I dropped a very large jar of mayonaise on the floor and it exploded everywhere! As I felt my blood start to boil, it hit me ... why freak out over something I couldn't do anything about? I calmly proceeded to clean it up. It changed how I react to things out of my control. ... I'm sure its added years to my life.
(Have to agree, I'd be glad, too, that I wasn't the one that measured for the fridge/freezer ... keep that one in your back pocket for the next time a finger's pointed your way!) ;)

"S" happens. It is better to be able to inhale. and go forward. A fix will be found
perhaps not in time for the pups to go home, but everyone has had this type of
challenge to deal with in the normal course of time.
Great that the dryer is working.

I am so happy to hear about the dryer. I couldn't imagine with all your laundry how you did it. It will be wonderful. My sister just bought a fridge and had to have someone cut the cabinet one inch. Almost fit but didn't so it happens. I agree you have a very very good attitude but really not much choice with all that was happening at your house today. Hope Nathan's foot gets better quickly. Must be very painful.

Which dog was the one on the right? Has a cute face that resembles Katie. Are they related in any way?

That is Trouble who is Panda's daughter. Panda is Roxie's sister.

Ronnie: If you know of someone that will redo cabinets, let me know. We actually removed the 4 but it looks ugly. We are 2 inches short. That measurement is not on me. :-) We need someone to resize them. If anyone knows - please let us know. Good news they are not in the middle of the floor anymore.

Dennis threw out so much as it had melted. :-( Fridge and Freezer looks empty but better than eating tainted food, I guess. Too long and not cold enough to retain the frozen stuff.

I have to get a new vent for the dryer. Maybe Sunday... Till then it is working.
