No Gallery Day

Risa enjoyed doing a watch over the pups. Due to so much going on there are no galleries. We have Abigail, Bentley and Fitz visiting. I will try to do a gallery tomorrow or Monday. I seriously need down time and I have all my grooming stuff to put back. Then I have the fun of turning the family room into a family room again.

Tomorrow night we will have a Jeannie and an Adele pup left. They will both remain. Goal is to get the next generation of Jeannie pup and the next of Adele. Jeannie's pup has an attitude. We are the right people to turn that around positively. They will be going to bed with us tomorrow night. Adele and River will move with our daughter close by. It seems they are feverishly finishing a basement to make that happen. I will have my summer clothes storage closet back. :-) I will see her frequently, I hope. Too many changes but happy for her.

We took the cabinets off above our appliances in the kitchen. We have to reduce the cabinets but for now its okay. We just finished hooking up a waterline to the dryer as its a steam one. Had to drill a hole for the waterline. Cleaned out the laundry tub cabinet, fixed a door and put all the stuff back. Still have to get a new vent for dryer but the old one will do till then. Dryer vent is coated and we can't seem to blow out the lint from it. So, we will start anew. Vent is very old too.

We had 2 puppies depart today.

What have we learned? If you do not rake before fall is done all winter long you bring in leaves - no lie.

Dogs are happy. Nathan made them some steak that had thawed. They all went yum yum.

I have yet to eat nor had some down time. Nathan is coverd with dogs watching tv. Can I too?

Still got things to do. So no gallery.... sorry.

Well can't wait to hear their names ... this is Jeannie's tri girl you're keeping?
... so many changes. Nice to hear that Tracey and the girls along with Adele and River will be close by.

Here is to another 20 years (hopefully more) of life to the new appliances!
Even though you are missing the pups like crazy, you can now have some rest time for yourself starting tomorrow. Sleep in, have a drink, eat some sushi, netflixng and chill, take a bubble bath, go out for a walk, anything is possible!
When you mention Jeannie pup has an attitude, what kind of attitude do you mean?

I agree with Sylvia. Wouldn't it be great to hear you had a quiet day? Is that possible. I would like to kmow about the attitude of an innocent sweet young puppy?(haha)

Yes, I need down time. I really want to finish my online classes, get caught up on tv, go out to eat and magically have the livingroom go back to normal with couches vs xpen. I have dogs to wash but I also need down time. This has been grueling. I wake up exhausted. I always have a lot to do but this waking up exhausted is new.

Have you tried vacuuming the vent? I did mine on full power and cleared it.

You need to do the downtime too, over exhaustion is not good.
Please look after yourself.

Tried blowing it out. It wouldn't work. It's one of those vents for under 10 dollars and its been there for 25 years or so. It's time to buy new.

Yes, buy new dryer vent - or worth taking chance of a fire. Replacing so many high price items at one time is tough ... been there ... but now that it's done, enjoy them. Hopefully new dryer will cut down on some of your work 🙂sounds like the old one needed 3 x the time 😬

Twenty minutes for sheets and blankets all together. 24 min for heavy comforter. Time and energy saving. This without a new vent. Going to get food and a vent after Akemi departs.

The clogged dryer vent can cause a dryer to overheat, Better to be safe and have a new vent installed. Hope everything settles down for you and your household soon.
