Exposures and No Groom

I gave myself a non grooming day and groomed a fair bit. These photos in this gallery is their before brushing clicks so you will see why I had to do some.

Everyone had fun including the 2 pups who are now in small doses getting conditioned to the larger dogs. We are not overloading but giving small short exposures.

The pen remains up but tomorrow we will take it down and I will have to put all my grooming stuff back and set up the living-room as a living-room. I also have a cleanup and grooming of Adele and Bentley as they depart tomorrow. I do the same on Tuesday with Fitz.

My dryer works wonderful - blankets - heavy 20 min. top. We also had to go out and get groceries. Both Nathan and I were way too tired to shop but we needed to. Tomorrow perhaps the vent.

River is over at Tracy and Kevin's place - getting River acquainted to the shepherd. It's going better than expected. They are not pals. They are simply getting to know each other and get conditioned. Great things happen given time when meant to be.

Life is changing. March Break perhaps Tracy and the grandkids are moving out and the dogs? Oh my... So many changes to adjust to.

Adele will still be kept intact so we can have 1 more litter with her. If this puppy works out we spay as we will have the next generation. It's rather sad this retiring business but at least its to family so I know I will see them. Not seeing is the hardest.

Good and bad, so many changes @ Talemaker. It can cause stress even when it is good. I hope the dogs all learn to 'get along.' they do not necessarily have to become best buddies. Adele and River can be their own team. It is a big change for all involved.

Darlah does that mean you are not going to breed River? Change is not easy. In fact it is hard for me. The fact that they are close and family I am sure you will be seeing a lot of them. "Grooming" Maybe???

I am sure it will be nice once you convert your rooms back. I am so happy about your dryer. I think I would have shot myself(haha) if I did as much laundry as you do and my dryer took forever to dry. This must be a treat for you.

Hope you had a quiet day.

No, I am not going to breed River. Yes, I imagine they will actually come here to be watched during the work week. I am hoping that the one we are keeping will be the next generation otherwise we will breed Adele 1 more time.

Lucky for Tracy that she will be close enough to enjoy your house for babysitting.

Yes, she will be in Markham o a little out of her way to head downtown but doable.
