Ice Day

My human - I think I hear him. We mostly did play in the house as it was rain and ice outside. It's mighty slick.

We also took the xpen down and started cleaning and putting things away. I still have things around the fireplace and blankets on the table and I want to redo my desk  but that isn't happening today. I also want to try the recliner in another spot. We shall see. It's been so long since I had this room back that I am confused on what to do.

Getting the xpen down, sterilizing it, sterilizing flooring and putting a lot of stuff away took most of the day. I also did laundry all day but wow the dryer is working and is fast. But everyone now thinks its an invitation to clean everyone's bedding, and the dog beds and on and on. Can I shoot them? Really...

It's interesting having a break. Is this a break? I miss the pups like crazy. But I have 2 here and Ms. Raven takes no grief from Stormy. She lets her push and push and irritate and then she lets her know, I do not think so. I rather like Raven. She has her limits.

Fitz departs tonight. Tiny comes for a grooming tomorrow and Chester and Teddy comes for a visit. We also have a lunch date with Paula. Imagine that - getting out?

Good for you Darlah, a lunch date is just what you need.

Nice that Raven is pushing back when Stormy is too much of a pest.

Darlah, glad you get to go out and enjoy time with a friend. It's good for the soul!
Interesting how the two pups will balance each other out. They will learn so much from each other. How long of a "break" do you think you will have?

We have 63 days from day of conception and break is over. No one is in heat yet so today I at least have 68 days as day of conception usually doesn't happen till they are in day 5 plus in the cycle. :-)

Kathy: Yes - it is good!

Darlah, Just an idea on your room. Have you tried the TV over the fireplace with an adjustable mount. You would need one that comes out and lowers. Then I would put two chairs, one on either side of the window with a table and lamp between them. Then you could put a shelving unit to the left of the fireplace for the electronic equipment. (Not sure if this is your family room or living room.) The tables on either side of the couch and between the chairs could be kennels with a cloth and wooden board or heavy glass on top. Then all you would need is a nice area rug between the furniture. I would go without a coffee table.
Just my thoughts. I believe I was a frustrated interior designer in another life.
