Fun Gloomy Day

Play with me Dolly, Stormy implores

And so it began lots of crazy play today. See the gallery. Dolly rather loves the Stormy.

Everyone is having a blast. I am still really sick so we shall see how tomorrow goes.

Usually I would do updates on the pups in their blogs but 1 blog today.

Raven is a slow eater to the point that she prefers you to put her food on the floor in little bits. Stormy eats hers and wants to steal everyone else's. Raven gives solid neck hugs where Stormy is too busy to take the time for them unless exhausted. Stormy is more high maintenance. She is always getting into trouble. Raven is more laidback but she doesn't allow anyone to trample on her. They are night and day. When I feel better I will weigh them.

Also note: Do not give your pups bully sticks. We have found they loosen the stools. It seems to happen with most havanese. One doesn't know till they try and that is the end result. Also give treats in moderation. I only treat after grooming. For instance I have been sick so grooming for the pups is not happening. They have not had a treat and they are fine with it. Treats are to be used to wow you did that!

I am hoping I can make it to class on Thursday. We shall see.

My Hav likes to eat her meals in little bits too unless there is extra fresh meat involved. I also note the treats, puppy also gets loose stools with treats and dental sticks, the vets think it might be an enzymes in it.

Ps how is Trouble? I love her.

Trouble is her usual self. :-)

Su: Certain treats if not introduced early in moderation will create a loose stool till the body gets used to it.Bully sticks despite giving them a little here and there always seem to introduce loose stools. It's not just Havanese but many breeds that have this issue.

Steph: Yes they are at times but they do play independent. They are enjoying themselves.

Great gallery, love the photos between Dolly and Stormy. Fascinating to read about the different personalities between Stormy and Raven.

It will be interesting to see how Coop gets along with both Stormy and Raven when he visits soon. I will be curious to hear about the interaction between them.

It is never a cookie cutter - all havs are like x. They all have their own personality. I look at my siblings and we are all vastly different. We are all unique.

Jeannie finally realized Raven is staying. She backed off from her at first figuring she was going. Now she plays and teaches her off and on all day long. It is nice.
