Rainy Times

It's pouring all day so hardly any photos today. It just happens when you spend more time drying amd combing than you do clicking. Here is Holly after her bath and trim. She's now home.  Amazing what a bath can do.

We also have 2 brothers here, Charlie and Rocco and they look so much alike. You can see them in the gallery.

As I said, hardly amy photos - mostly just Holly, Rocco and Charlie. Sorry about that. Tomorrow will be lean too as we have the vet.

Holly is beautiful. Great job Darlah.

Wow, Holly is a beauty. Her coat reminds me of Cooper's. Charlie and Rocco do look alike, I can't tell who's who. So cute to see then together.

Does Holly have a full coat? Looks like it to me.

Holly looks like a female version of Cooper. Great coat. Darlah she looks a lot different than her play look from the other day. Nice job.

Holly not only has a full coat it must be cut shorter so it doesn't drag. It took me over 2 hours to get her done. She was a tad messy. hahahaha

She is a sable like Cooper. So is Magic who also has a full coat. Teddy does as well.

Thank you to everyone at Talemaker for giving Patches and Radar such a good time the last couple of days. They slept on the way home, then until dinner, and now they are back asleep - ahhhhhhhh! Again, thank you very much for your wonderful care while we were away.

Pretty sure Charlie and Rocco are Clarity's brothers. All three look so much alike in the face (except Clarity's hair is currently much longer.)

Darlah - thank you so much for looking after Holly for us this past week! She came home happily exhausted from all the play; and she looks and smells great! I'm happy to report that her top knot is still in excellent shape (when I do it, I'm lucky if it lasts 10 minutes before she finds a way to take it apart - lol). She is now fast asleep, dreaming about Stone, I'm sure!

Caroline: So happy she managed to stay together at least for a little bit. She indeed had fun as did we with her.

Angela:

We truly enjoyed them. They and we had so much fun. Happy Birthday almost and Happy Anniversary!

Christine: You are correct!

Wow. Holly is indeed a beauty. Both Holly and Rusty had sable colouring as pups and now both have gone white and caramel. Rusty of course is shorter but has the same ears and tail, similar to Ella. I don't see Ella very much in pics. Would love to see her.

Ronnie Holly is apricot sable. She's darker than Rusty. Sables can go lighter and darker. What you see of Rusty now may be different a year from now. but he will retain his ears unless cut. Ella is in a lot of photos with her chewed top hair from Cinnamon (but its coming back). She has faded out. If she is like her mother she will go darker as she gets older.

Interesting. Thanks Darlah. Bottom line, as you have always said, it is the dog we love not by their colour or whether they are male/female. It is those beautiful loving eyes and face that makes you crumble. Their wonderful temperament.
