Tenshi and Cooper: No Gallery Today

Tenshi went home last night after her bath.

This was Cooper after his bath, after a drink and after he went outside. So I redid his hair. Nathan was messing up his hair and he was making it a challenge for me to get him looking groomed before his parents came to get him.

This was the amount of hair I took out just from Cooper's bum area. I did a section each night.

We will be posting the daily gallery later today to this blog. Although we have been up early this is still too early for a gallery. heh Off to groom. Hoping to get tv time tonight with the dogs. I have been missing it.

Ella is in the crate pouting. Her man Coops is gone. Time to flirt with someone else...

We are so excited to see Kona tomorrow. It's been way too long. Now he won't have any competition with Ella. heh

Darlah, thank you for your magic touch! Tenshi looks splendid when she got home. Thank you for putting up her hair so I can admire her eyes. She looks like a different dog so nice and fluffy, smelling so sweet! I don't even want to bring her outside to walk so that I can preserve her beautiful look! Do I need to take off her hair elastic or can I leave it until she destroys the look?
Cooper looks handsome! Wow after the thinning, I can still see his fluffiness! I wonder how it was in the "before" look? Tenshi and Cooper have similar colouring, I wonder if that's how Tenshi will look when she's an adult. I would be very happy if she turns out like Coop! Poor Ella, her boyfriend is gone. Will Ella be in heat soon?

Sylvia: There are a lot of before photos in the gallery. The key to thinning the coat out is it should not appear to look thinner but should FEEL thinner. The way I do it is slow and tedious but the end result is better than using scissors or thinning shears. Cooper has a massive amount of hair. His hair is very thick. He benefits from less coat. He doesn't mind it at all and often fell asleep as I did it and every now and then would wake up to get a treat.

I will put up a photo of the hair I took out on just his bum. Each night I did a section.

Both Cooper and Tenshi are sables. It's a pretty blend of colouring. On true sables the cream is cream not white.

Ella was due to be in heat this month - so are the others but heats happen when they happen. She could have been early too.

I love, love, love the pups but appreciate getting sleep and getting a project done here and there. Though I still have not got my desk done. That was first on my list.

Tenshi is gorgeous! and the Coop is so charming. Darlah all that work. Is Cooper's coat unusually thick? All your pups have a wonderful disposition just like the Talemaker crew. I am talking with a friend who has never had a dog but wants one for her boys. She will need a lot of training but I don't think there is a better breed or Breeder for her to start with. Her boys are teens. Keep you posted!

wow lots of hair thinned from the Coop, and that's just from the bum! I wonder if he lost 1 whole pound after the whole thinning process!

Wow Darlah your hands must me tired. Both Cooper & Tenshi look wonderful.

Tell Ella her little friend Kona will be arriving on Wednesday. I hope that she remembers him.

Cooper looks the same but oh my does he feel thinner! Darlah thinned out a huge amount of hair and did a wonderful job. Certainly will help with our daily grooming.
Sylvia, I hadn't noticed how similar Tenshi and Cooper are in colours. She is beautiful. By the way, I just weighed him and he hasn't lost an ounce LOL! Must be the freeze dried chicken strips :-))). Those treats are amazing, hadn't heard of them before. We will order some tomorrow. Thanks again D&N for taking such good care of our boy. xoxo

Oh and Cooper is sound asleep....and twitching, probably dreaming of Ella. He's a tired but happy boy!

Cooper and Tenshi look so lovely, that's for sure. Wow, Cooper does have a thick coat, my oh my, he is so handsome. I noticed the similarity in colouring right away. So very pretty. Glad you are home safely Anne and Russell.

So glad you made it home safely. We miss the Coops. But I am sure he is so excited to be at home. Something about holidays. You are excited to be on one then there is no place like home.

Kathy: :-)

We are so looking forward to the Kona.
