What a Day and a Bit

Levon and Trigger had a bath. Don't worry Shannon, we will do it again when they go home but they ran into a mud slick or was that the slick ran into them? Barney did the same! Barney was departing so only 1 bath for him. As you can see Trigger was having fun with it!

Rocky was over for a bath and cleanup. He got to play with his sister, Stormy and boy they had fun.

Here is today's gallery.

Poor Kona, 3 grooming sessions today. He is so impressed, don't you think? But that is what happens when you go out in the rain and into the garden. But when he was done, he licked his lips and went hahahaha I got 3 treats!!

Kona's brother is here, Ty. I didn't see a photo but he was NOT pleased with the wet. Will try to catch the brothers together tomorrow.

Stone was really getting into playing with Raven. He truly likes her!

Dear Leti got to dance with Stone but it's too early and when he tried, she said NOT YET and he got the message. He made oh my gad you scare me noises. Poor boy. We will try again tomorrow but when she is ready she will let him know.

It was mighty muddy outside as we had rain. Lila and Zoe departed. Logan and Panda departed. We get to see them on Monday. Hope you have a great Sunday!

Murphy is still truly connecting with her sister. She tends to sleep on my legs at night or in my neck.

River and Adele are here as the daughter and crew was mighty busy. That's okay. They get to sleep with me. Okay, Nathan too but it's me they snuggle with.

It's TV time and it's been  long day with so much grooming. I pray for snow. I know - silly me but it means less grooming.

Tomorrow is tomorrow and we will see what fun it brings. If I missed photos of your dog just realize tomorrow I will make sure I click them. That is, unless I am cleaning mud.

They look great, Darlah. Can't wait to see them. Were you cooking? That's Levon's I'll sit here while you cook just in case something drops position. Lol.

Levon and Trigger you are adorable. Such a great duo. Kona, how lucky to have 3 grooming sessions today, Cooper says good for you, more treats LOL. Miss Leti, take your time and keep dancing. When the time is right, you will score a 10!

Murphy sleeps on my legs too but not my neck. You make her feel safe Darlah so she snuggles you :)

What beauties. All of them. You just have to love them. I hate all this muck too! But can't say I want snow. Too cold for me.

So cute...ALL of them. Rocky is adorable... Do you trim around their eyes? I'm having a challenge keeping the hair out of Marco's...

Can't wait to see Stone and Leti's pups.

Patricia:
I dislike the look but I will on request. Lately many are opting for it. They also opt for shaving the tummy so its less care. It saves you from having to put a latex band on the head furnishings and taking knots out of the tummy. You do have to keep the head updated as it will stick in the eyes causing tearing if it is not updated. I have some that do it themselves and then I am trying to shape it back up. But it is something, if you are a do it yourselfer that you can eventually get to look decent. Thinning shears help.

I'll try the band if I can find one small enough. I try and 'dry' Marco with a towel after a peep so that helps with the belly. I think Marco thinks I have towels for hands cause every time I come towards him I'm wiping something LOL. Hugs.

Patricia:

HaHa

You can find latex bands at Rens. Close to you, no?

February 26, 2017 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Darlah, is it true that the longer hair on the tummy makes fewer knots?

February 26, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterCarmen and Ines

Murphy has a shaved tummy but you wouldn't know it to look at her. It has really reduced matting. She has always had a top knot and I love the look on her.
It's very easy to maintain and I have no problem getting the elastic in and out (as long as she's distracted by a treat).

February 26, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterSherry

Shaved and kept up there's no hair to mat. :-) Many do it during the summer but many do it year round. I have long and shaved hair (tummies) on my dogs and it depends on the hair if it is a benefit or not. It certainly is less to brush and comb.

You are right! Thank you
