Happy 5th Birthday: The Daily Gallery Added

Its Shady's 5th Birthday.  Celebrations are in full swing today!  Shady and Nora have brought our family such joy.  Happy Birthday to his litter mates!

Brie also says happy birthday to Shady, Ossi,  Biggie and Lucy. May it be the best celebration!

On another note, here is the daily gallery.

Raven is doing better with food. She is now eating out of the bowl. She is the slowest eater and would only eat if you spread it out on the floor. As that is not what I want to cultivate, I persisted and the last day she has begrudgingly eaten out of the dish though mighty slowly. As the 3 pups, Thyme, Stormy and Raven eat together under my supervision I get to use leave it. Thyme gets this but Stormy sure tries a lot of tricks to steal Raven's food. Thyme will sit patiently. She wants it but she listens. I am impressed with her.

I was up till 3am so I took a nap today. I had plans to play catch-up washing dogs but just did one for someone else. Tomorrow is a new day. I would like to be fully caught up and start doing my desk etc. When you have plans to accomplish things life gets in the way. Oh well...

Dogs are having fun.

Happy birthday doggies!
Sleeping at 3 am? Insomnia?
How do to teach a Raven to eat from the bowl without spreading food on the floor?. I have encountered the same problem, sometimes I have to lure Tenshi to the bowl. The exception is when she's really hungry and when there's beef bits in the bowl.

So funny reading about your dogs who have to be encouraged to eat.
Since Murphy was a puppy she has always acted as if she's starving. Darlah used to feed Saffron and Murphy separately because Murphy would inhale her food and then eat Saffi's. Now I use a slow food bowl or mix her kibble with something and freeze it so she has to work at it.

Happy birthday sweet dawgs.
GLAD you were able to rest a bit today Darlah. Good for you.

I take it in my hand and then small bits go into the bowl vs on the floor. Tonight no prompting. It's been a process.

Was up till 3am as I had stomach issues and do not know why. It's how it started when I got sick but I think it may be stress.

They still have no clue with Eli and he still does not have his vision. Dad was also rushed by ambulance to the hospital tonight and we await news on that. WE are having fun.

I should wash a dog but not in mood. Tomorrow....

Truffie gave me the most amazing hugs last night and tonight. He has the best hugs in the house as he settles into your neck and hugs with his whole body. Some hug me but not quite like him. They more drape themselves around you, up against you but Truffie has the touch. heh

Now Dad was rushed to the hospital and they are keeping him in. Should have had a stiff drink.

Hope you had a drink. My prayers are with your family that all goes well with both your Dad and Eli.

Sherry: It would be so much easier if Tenshi wants to eat all the time so training would be a bit easier.
Darlah: We are thinking of you. Hoping your grandson will soon have a diagnosis from the neurologist or the ophthalmologist. Sometimes waiting for a diagnosis is the toughest part.
It was good that you manage to see Dad during the week to celebrate his birthday. You must be worried sick that he is now admitted to the hospital. Hope you can take some meds for your tommy pain (to make sure you don't get any gastric stress ulcer) Here is a virtual hug for you and your family ❤️

Dad was released from hospital this morning. Good news. Eli is the same.

Sending you and your family positive thoughts and prayers. These events create so much stress for everyone.
Nice that Truffie can give you such great hugs. He is such a gentle dog.
