Oh My Time Flies

With the time change doesn't it feel as if the day went by too fast? It did for me. Tia got a haircut and went home. I brushed everyone out as I knew I would be out tomorrow. Grace, Tucker, Fitz and Buddy arrived. Grace departs tomorrow.

Clarity and Farley is the winner of the eat so fast experience. Check it out here.

We had a dusting of snow. We managed to stay in bed till 730am. We went to bed at 930. Dogs didn't mind.

Here is today's gallery.

Is it bed time yet? hahahahahaha

How did you survive the time change?

Funny video, and I thought Cooper ate fast. Looks like Coop savours his food. Too funny to watch them eat. Thanks for sharing!

Great video. No breathing, just eating :)

Have a great time tomorrow, Darlah!

Do Clarity & Farley burp after eating so fast ? I assume unless they have tummy problems it can't harm them. Mini 'Hoover' is what I call Kona.

I can't believe Farley and Clarity. It disappeared in a minute. Rusty eats slow most of the time unless he gets something special and in the morning he can leave some of his food. But that being said he is overweight from snacking. So we stop the snacks and see if he will start eating faster.

Enjoy tomorrow Darlah. I slept in today and you are so right the day flew by.

Christine - Do you add anything to their kibble each meal?
Abby often only eats one meal a day - doesn't seem to matter what I add to it!
Loved the video. Delightful!

Wow, Clarity and Farley are great eaters! Whole bowl in 30 seconds! Do they regurgitate anything after considering they just woof the food down so quick?
I was happy with the time change since I was working a night shift. Came 2am then bam we were already 3am! Instead of working a 12 hours, I worked 11!
Darlah, enjoy your day out tomorrow. Be careful with driving, I heard there will be snow.

Sam asked if the reason Farley and Clarity eat so fast is that they are two and afraid the other will eat their fod if they don't.?

Some can be by themselves and still eat too fast.

Liz: Can you feel Abby's ribs? If not, you are fine. We always add things to the food and for each the add in is different.

Both eat far too fast and this can create health problems so they both eat from slow feed bowls now and it works well for both of them. Clarity was always a fast eater (at least from 8 months when I brought her home). Farley picked up speed as he saw her eating quickly. Nothing added to their kibble. I give them cucumber and other bits of veggies from time to time as I don't eat meat myself. Both are VERY motivated by food and would be overweight if I didn't control it. I also lovingly call them "my little hoovers"!
