Gardening and Rain

Before the rain came, Moxie thought she would grab the seedling pots and run like crazy hoping I would chase her. Oh Moxie, are you a gardener in the making?

Soon we had rain and well...

Each time they went out they tried hiding underneath the bench and anywhere else it was dry. Okay, some didn't mind the rain but....

Check out the gallery.

I didn't get many photos. I did try but it's not fun for me standing in the rain clicking either.

Chester, Murphy and Reggie departed. Oreo, Majik and Moxie remain. Tomorrow Oreo and Majik depart.

The weekend is ending and next Saturday is Woofstock. Yep they are charging this year. So upsetting but I bought my tix. Same meetup place. Hope to see you there.

With the pups doing so well, Dennis and Jon will hold down the fort till we get back. Looking forward to it. Pups will be 10 days old then.

Dogs are wet, laying all over Nathan. He's soaked. heh

Clarity and Farley both grab the empty call packs and plastic pots while I'm planting. They like how light weight they are and - easy to flip in the air - and the crunching sounds they like.
I actually have a big problem. I have a plant label stealing dawgie!!!! Farley pulls all the tags out of the pots AND the garden (where they still exist). He chews them to bits and I'm pretty sure he's eating them too!
I overwintered a whole slew of perennials in pots and carefully labelled each one so I knew what didn't survive. Very few labels left.

Farley is attempting to be a master gardener?

I see Moxie is living up to her name! She so loves to be chased so will do anything she can to encourage it. Hope she isn't being too pesky as you try to garden, Darlah. I love the photo, though. I miss her rascally ways. Can't wait to see her soon. Thanks for the pictures that keep her close in my heart while we are away.

Glad some of the dogs enjoyed the rain yesterday. It was pouring in the afternoon where we were and like some of the dogs, we were trying to find dry places to hide. :)

Cheryl: It's like humans - some enjoy, some not

Moxie was fun... no worries. I just love her! What a fun personality!

I know, so unfortunate that Woofstock is charging now. We are going to pass, because of it. It was fun to meet up, and walk around the support the vendors, but not worth paying for. :-( Maybe attendance will be significantly down and they won't charge next year. $10/person (prepaying, $12 on the day!) is way too pricey. :-(

I still think it is worth it to see the dogs, socialize and enjoy each others company.

I wish I can bring Tenshi to Woofstock too! Unfortunately, she's getting her spaying surgery today so no jumping around for her for a week!
I look forward to see the pictures though!!! It must be quite a sight to have a pack of havaneses marching up the festival hehe.
