Way Too Hot

It's a short blog today as we are going to Terry Mosher's book signing downtown today. They own one of our dogs. Plus he is a great political cartoonist.

It was way too hot to be outside. the dogs told me over and over.

Here is a small gallery before I got to groom them. well, Pepper got groomed but doesn't look like she did. hahaha

Did get a water pot done. I got the plants watered. I got the dogs groomed finally. I also spray painted a table that looked quite rough. I finally got two coats on it. We also had the pups out. The laundry is done.

The dogs appreciate the air conditioning and we so appreciate we have it. Harper and Tenshi so enjoy each other and Tenshi will miss him when he goes tomorrow.

Nathan was wrapped in dogs last night. He is taking a nap (daily) as he gets no sleep. I sleep cause I am exhausted.

Dogs are wonderful. They are getting a special feast tonight before we depart and Teddy dances when nathan brings the food. I laugh and wow does that feel good to watch!

Oh and levon wants Triggers food too.

Enjoy the book signing. We went to one of his in our area a few weeks ago. Great coffee table book. Very hot here too, 34 C. No walk today with Coop but sitting out in the shade and there is a nice breeze.

Still no air conditioning. Murphy misses the pool but the ice pack really helps!
Hopefully tomorrow.....

Levon is always hungry. I keep them a part while they eat, but once Trig is done, Levon licks his bowl. Lol.

I was also wondering what a water pot is?

June 13, 2017 | Unregistered CommenterRuth shinder

It is a large pot with water, bricks that you create many shelves with a pump to keep water moving filled with water plants. Each year I have 2. It gives sound and plants without having a pond. In the front I have a mini pond but due to shade I am not putting water plants in it. Still waiting for my grandkids to help weed my front. Today I cut a weeping willow tree from my neighbour on our side as its filling our pool with debris. I am afraid of heights so this could be interesting.

Shannon: He is a food hound just like Stormy. Stormy would eat till she bursts.

Book signing was good though we stayed for so little. Had a hard time parking but found one streets away so we hiked in the heat with fuel fumes from the street. It felt hotter downtown. Today it looks like rain. Of course I want to swim. wanted to bring in Harper before he departs. We shall see.

The funny thing, Darlah, is that he wasn't for the first year of his life. He was a picky eater and he had me worried that he wasn't eating enough. That all changed once we got Trigger. Then he became the food hound we know and love. His entire days involves running up and down the stairs checking out the kitchen floors in the upper and lower units of our house. lol. All those stairs keep him in great shape.

Nice water pots! I love all the pictures of the swimming doggies. And Nathan spoiling the dogs, perfect! I wishI was a Talemaker havanese!
Glad Tenshi is making friends with Harper. She is much a play monkey, sometimes I think she has "Attention Deficit Disorder", super hyper when she wants to play.
Thank you so much for updating the blog and posting pictures. Will and I always "stock" the website to look for Tenshi first thing in the morning, we are missing her and missing her greet us in the morning.

She is still a baby LOVING the play and can you blame her?

Shannon:

That's funny!
