So Far So Good

First day for Spice and Trouble not to complain about healing. It's a no pain med day so far. Spice's eyes to me is gorgeous - a striking black and white. Today we remove the onesies to do a thorough combout. I say we but you know that is me.

Spice was a beauty as a pup and remains a beauty as a more mature doggie. There is something special about her that makes her look so elegant. Love the Spice girl and happy to hear she is doing better, as well as Trouble.

Spice is a special gal for sure. She must be next in line behind Risa for 'Queen' @ Talemaker.

Will she stay with you at the Talemaker pad?
She is so gorgeous

Spice is a beautiful dog. I love her little smile - she always seems to be smiling in a knowing way. So adorable. Moxie has many of her mommy's qualities, including the beautiful black and white colouring and the expressive eyes. Love them both.

Spice is truly gorgeous. I am happy they are on the mend. it is so nice to hear that Marlee is looking out for Sadie. How old is Marlee. And my other question is - is there any jealousy between the dogs for attention with their human mom and dad?

Ronnie:

Marlee is 10 years old. She still plays. Yes, dogs can be jealous but just as you do with kids both get attention. It works.

Patt came and picked up Marlee and Sadie and Sadie was thrilled to see Patt. It is a great fit. She said she thought it would be harder - that it wouldn't be as easy but it is working out quite well. Sadie is happy, Marlee is happy and it seems the humans are too.

I was not ready for this one. It is still very difficult to let them go but when it works and they are happy -well it is about them.

Nathan thinks she needs a home but he says that about Truffie too. I understand that I can't keep the next generation and keep the olders but still...I have Risa, Shoshi and Kat and one day I won't have them as they are all deeply in the senior status. <sigh>
