Such a Slacker

Sorry we went out to see Treasure and her mom Kate. I am posting this photo as it's a really funny expression on Treasure. Her mom manages a lot of gardening plots near hwy 50. She also maintains her own huge plot. It was muddy. Ella had fun but needed a bath when she got home.

I also managed to stop in Bolton to get my scissors sharpened and one fixed.

We so enjoyed the visit but then the daughter came to swim and then we had a storm I realized Dennis had not taken any photos. But hopefully you enjoy our visit to the farm.

Here is the gallery.

Visitors and our dogs are so enjoying themselves.

Hopefully no rain tomorrow.

Happy long weekend!

Truly heartwarming photos of your visit with Treasure. Just beautiful, what a great time you must have had!

Bonus I got my scissors sharpened and didn't realize how dull they were. hahahaha

Yes, visit with Kate and Treasure was really special!

Going to visit again when we don't have pups.

And yes, that is a funny expression of the Treasured one....missed seeing her

Great pictures, Darlah! Great to see Ella running free in the open space with pure abandonment - PURE JOY!

Ella and Treasure sure look like they enjoy the outing running in open field with such freedom and joy. Thank you for posting the pics, they make me smile when I look at how happy they are!

What a nice picture of you and Treasure, Darlah! It's so great that you get to see so many of pups after they've been placed in other homes. I know it means a lot to you!

Love seeing 'The Treasured one' again. It has been a long time.
She is living a very different life now. She seems very happy, sharing lots of kisses with you and Nathan.
Does she enjoy being the 'only' with her mommy Kate ?

I've been looking at these photos again and they are so heartwarming ! So happy that Treasure has a wonderful home🐾❤️🐾😉

Kathy:

In Treasure's case she was placed as she kept trying to control the other dogs. It was unfair to her to be kept in the hall to avoid any altercations. She is very dominant. She is very happy being the focus. :-) She did enjoy having Ella there. Though if Ella was not a submissive she would have been trying to control her.

Now Kat gets the hall when girls are in heat as he will fight for the girl and Stone will fight back. Truffie is a submissive so he doesn't bother him. Stone is a dominant.

Kat and Stone get along just fine when no one is in heat. This is VERY normal and usual and its why many do not have multiple boys when they have girls that go into heat. I hate heats. heh But it is easier now without grandkids etc where you always have to worry if a boy will get through a gate.

Kate says Treasure changed her life. It was her first dog and went oh my she will be 9 this year. She has been with her for 4 years. They have quite a special relationship. I am very happy Kate has her.

Yeah even after 4 years, Patt I still miss them. It is so good to see them every now and then. It does your heart good!

I'm so happy for you to have that, Darlah! It's so nice for you, for sure, and it's obviously so special for the pups too! Reconnecting with you is great for them......you were their beginning! I don't think they forget that.
