Hi there,

So Finn slept from 10:30-7:30 am!!  He’s such a precious pup!  He’s doing amazing!  Getting a ton of love.

Our kids have completely raised to the challenge and are learning so much about him and training him already.  He will nip and jump but the minute we say no and walk away...he sits immediately because he just wants to be with us and please us.  He definitely loves being rewarded with treats which is great!!

He has a completely relaxed disposition.  He absolutely loves lying on his side and getting his belly rubbed....and there are no shortage of people in our house!

He hasn’t completely learned his name yet that’s probably because he has five people calling him “Finn, finzie, finnley, finnee!”  Hahaha!!  But he is super smart and will figure it out.

We are absolutely in love and thank you thank you !  We can’t say enough that you did all the work.  We think you already have your next customer....a friend has plans to get a puppy in the next year and she is already sold on a Havanese and Talemakers!!

Have a happy holiday season!!!

Marlon, Nicole, Sydney, Hudson, Davis and Finn!

Hi Darlah and Nathan:

Just a quick email to wish you and your family the best over the holiday season.

It has been fun to watch the latest litters of puppies grow and develop under your kind and generous care.  Your compassionate and gentle influence on our dogs remains with them throughout their lives. I feel blessed to have the privilege of having a Talemakers' girl in my life - Moxie brings us smiles, joy and laughter every day.  We love her so.

I have attached her recent holiday pictures for you.  She has grown into such a wonderful girl - still working on agility and tricks classes with her.  In fact, we have her expert trick certificate (which will be recognized by the CKC beginning in January) and will be working on her championship level in the new year.  She is so smart - much smarter than me!

Keep well, and we look forward to seeing you soon.  All the best,

MaryLou and Moxie

Also, only if you are up to it, read Ella's blog.

We also want to recognize two dear friends that are dealing with cancer. One day at a time. It is a clear reminder that we must make each day precious. May they be able to put their concerns aside during this holiday season and find laughter.

We also want to recognize those that have lost family members. We understand this grief all too well. Each is unique. Finding ones coping skills can feel daunting but indulge, please. A good book, a movie - anything to find some enjoyment and don't feel guilty if you manage to find it.

We feel so for all those going through difficult times this holiday season. It is not easy for everyone.

We do dogs. We don't have time for celebrations (do miss it) other than making the dogs have the most fabulous time. A part of me is deeply sad that we are not surrounded by human family but they are all over the place from BC, Las Vegas, North Carolina, Portland etc.

Life is well life and creating memories with what you have is important.

Ash, Grey, Ollie and LexiDogs had great fun today. Ash and Grey, the schnauzers are here overnight. It is great exposure for the havanese. If a dog has not had any exposure - we fear what we do not know - they tend to worry about the bigger ones. We are lucky as we have the schnauzers and Jesse the collie who visits. Plus we have Inula. It's all positive.
