See what a day off is like - well a semi day off. Still have pups, blogs, cleaning, laundry but a no groom day says I can blog at this time and be done. Amazing. Now only if the pool was warm enough. Last time I checked it was in the low 80s so maybe tomorrow I can swim. We shall see. I have groomings tomorrow but a quick 30 minute swim may help this back and rejuvenate this soul.
Harlow has been chasing the squirrels with the rest of the dogs. It has become a real game. It surely expels their energy.
Misty is excited that she is no longer in heat. She is playing with all today and quite happy. Raven finishes soon. No one else has come in yet. Maybe we will have sometime to swim this summer. I certainly hope so.
We went out yesterday - Nathan and I to do curbside for starter mousse for the pups to eat. We go through a lot so eventually we will be softening up fromms and they will make that transition but moms like it too. We can get 48 cans and it may last a week or a week and a half. Feeding pups and moms is costly when you have 15 pups. It is also hard to get so he had to go to 1 store then another. We are making it work.
I find it interesting as I see about 50% with masks and 50% without. I thought I would see a higher number yesterday but it was not the case. Yesterday was the 1st day for stores with curb exposure to open up. the mall was closed tight. No school for the rest of the year. We got Swiss Chalet and their takeout window was open. Delivery guy was masked up with a cool mask, I may say. My fave Shwarma place still closed. I so hope they open up eventually. Not another near us that is decent that I am aware of. It may force me to try others further away but I so like my local - people and food.
I have to start transplanting my plants but not today. I need a down day.
We are mulling taking the pups out again. The weather - well its great. I may sit outside now that the blogs are done and watch on my ipad when the pups wake up. Got to take advantage of the moments that you can.
