Messy Out There

Here is the gallery.

I guess due to March Break, I am getting later and later in posting blogs. Apologies.

It is truly a mess out there melting then snow then melting and output. We try our best. So, if you see yellow, know we are working on it.

I woke up at 630am to do dogs departing today. If I had done them last night, they wouldn't look freshly bathed. I just now finished doing pups and grooming etc. Now blogs.

Chase so loves me. I think she is treat motivated. Ollie doesn't like his pads shaved. The nuances of dogs. They are all similar but unique. Some do not mind the wet. Some hate it and some just roll all over the white stuff as if to say so there you just groomed me but.... You fill in the blank.

We had a visitor here that was urinating blood in a huge way. We took him to the vet. They thought it was an infection but the bleeding continued after going home so I said you need to do an xray to check for stones. This dog exhibited no pain but yes, it has a very large one and will be operated on. I am sharing this as the urinalysis did not show any crystals. If this persists, do get an xray. It does happen across all breeds. We had our late golden with this issue.

Ruth is now home though not well enough for Katie. We pray for her and hope she can see Katie soon as I imagine it will make a difference in her life as all dogs do but especially your own.

We have reports, including our son of people having dog carriers turned away and delays of up to 24 hours for flights. This is CRAZY. Just know if this happens, we have your dog and it is one less thing you need to worry about.

We have a number of dogs departing tomorrow - actually many. They will be missed. Less dog bowls will be made but water will be changed (10 of them) every hour or so. We are rather anal about it as we think fresh water is important and so do the dogs. They run to the bowls when we change. We always add some ice so its cool and refreshing.

We have tv time in the tv Nathan man cave and in the kitchen with Dennis. Kinsey and Sage are in heat - not being bred so they are in this room with the moms and these moms are receptive and show off their pups. It all works.

Nathan cooked steak and fish on the BBQ and the dogs that can only had fish and fresh salmon and the dogs that could do steak had steak. We are a doggie restaurant.
