Not a Bad Day

Everyone is messy. When Dennis gets up and can watch the puppies, I will get to combing everyone out. I need to catch a breath. LOL

Weather is not bad. I went out with a long sleeve shirt and felt comfortable.

Nathan is now at Shoppers getting a bottle warmer. Oh boy but this in the pan water warming up is hard as its not hot enough or too hot. How did I ever do it before?

Dogs are enjoying the weather. The leaves need to be picked up again or maybe not. Who has time and maybe this amount will be good for the garden beds. It's just the leaves on the dog's coat is interesting.

Here's to a fun day of running. Maybe Dennis will play games with them this afternoon after sleep.

Sorry Late

Sherry asked me where the blog was. I forgot - seriously forgot. Too much on my mind.

Dogs had a blast despite my stress. I hardly ate. I fed the dogs the lamb chops that Nathan made me. They were happy. 

Dennis was in bed till 7pm but he got into bed late due to Sage's pups arriving.

Everyone is now enjoying tv time. Soon bed...

Oh the Play

Harlow is back hunting what she thinks is rabbits. She took a break. Every single dog is playing though Dennis had to do more leaf pickup. He thought he took more photos than he did. He also took a nap with some of the dogs after that. It was a nap day - what can I say.

Yes, Marco, Murphy, Maury and Fudge are having the time of their life. Oreo and Ollie departed. Buddy departs tomorrow and so does Fudge. I hope Sage allows Fudge grooming as he so needs it.

It has been a good day and dinner has just finished. It is amazing how quickly it gets dark.

Feeling Cold But That Play

The play is something else. They are so enjoying each other. Harlow and Oreo decided to nap but we will get them out playing later. Harlow usually goes on the hunt for rabbits but she went for a nap with Nathan. Dogs who want to go napping with Nathan - it is their choice. He never knows who decides till the day.

Last night, a dog chewed a comforter and all the stuffings came out. All you can do is laugh. No. they didn't eat the stuffing. They just made it a huge job to clean it up. I guess it is going in the trash.

Getting the Play On

It gets so dark so early that I feel as if we need them to play and play as early as they can. It is crazy.

There is a ton of play going on. As I am typing, Harlow and Buddy are barking for their supper. I have to laugh as they love it so. 

Inside, outside play is amazing fun for us and the dogs. It is 452pm and almost dark - argh.

Nathan is home - well he is actually food shopping. I actually sat down and watched a tv show. That was not possible this week. I had Sage and Nami laying all over me. It was so nice to have that time with the dogs. 

Dennis was able to just be with Nami and the pups so they gained, gained, gained! 

For now, Nathan gets all males at bedtime and I get girls due to heat. I look forward to the end of the heats - 1 more week.

Home Coming

Pippin says it is mighty cold outdoors. The dogs are in and out. I am grooming and combing here and there. I think more leaves have fallen down now that we had leaf pickup. Life  is just like that.

Thank you to Dorothy for a bagel and soup. It was wonderful for you to do!

When Nathan arrives home, he will have warm soup. Dennis will head to bed and stay there till bedtime and be with the pups and crawl into bed around 7amish. We will be back on schedule. Nathan just doesn't realize he has evening dog feeding to do. 

Ms. Chloe is departing. I just combed her and Ollie will be leaving tonight and I just combed him. 

It has been a very long week but the dawgs always had fun. If I can accomplish this - I feel great and I did manage that - well Dennis and I.

It's a Day

Sun keeps trying to stay out. Soon it will be dark. I hate dark days. 

Dennis is sleeping so I am juggling. He will get up around 5 so we can feed before Tuppy departs.

Nathan comes home tomorrow night. I look forward to sitting on a chair and not moving or blogging for 10 minutes after Nathan comes home. It has been exceedingly busy. Nathan will tell me he is tired. LOL

Dogs have played and appreciate the wind out there.

I am hoping Sage holds off for a few days. I honestly need it and a daytime birth please.

Dennis had a massive asthma attack last night so neither of us slept much. 

It's a day and still the dogs are having so much fun!

Ice Today

Yes, we had ice come down - 1st ice storm/sleet storm? Dogs were not impressed. 

I had grooming this morning. As Dennis didn't get into bed till 2ish, he just got up at 645pm. Not a lot of sleep but we are doing the best we can. 

I managed to groom and play and clean and all the crazy stuff that goes into a day when it is just you. I laugh as this is simply crazy.

Tuppy is here for an overnight and won't stop playing. Ellie was  also here and I bet she is tired tonight as she played and played and played. Mr. Ollie was here for the day and he was getting a mess before his momma came. As I said, juggle, juggle. 

Ms. Chloe is still after the rabbits with her partner in crime, Harlow. Where will the rabbits go with this cold settling in? 

Sage had a bath and we have belly shots and her toy coddling up on her blog. 

It is 720pm and we are about to feed the dogs. Yep - can you believe that?

Nathan is in Aspen with his friends and it seems he has altitude sickness. 

Dennis made hot dogs with dough. They were absolutely HORRID. He tried something new and it didn't work out. No dinner tonight. LOL

Leaves Almost Gone

Okay - we had our irrigation guys do the leaves today. Dennis spent a lot of time figuring out what they were doing. He was not happy and said to them, you best not be scamming us. Dennis usually doesn't interact but as he usually does this job, he knows how many bags and how long it takes. We await the bill. They refuse to use our lawn bags saying theirs is larger and therefore more money and on and on. 

The dogs went out after and was miffed that the leave piles were gone. They were getting used to playing a game in them. Well, this will make less leaves being dragged into the house. That makes Dennis happy.

It looks cold and gloomy out there.

Marco has arrived and was jumping through the garden. What a funny guy. He is having fun. Buddy seems to like his frolicking as he tried to join in.

Other than being overly tired - it's a good day for us and the dogs. 

Wet Outside

It is wet outdoors. Harlow and a few others went outside - did their business and back inside. Some just hate wet feet and who can blame them?  We have cleaned the floors a few times. I almost give up. 

Supposedly leaf guys are coming tomorrow.

I have to say the juggling is awful. We will get through but never again - heats, boarders, grooming and Nathan gone. I have lost 3lbs. Who has time to eat and how can you just chill?

Dennis is in bed. As I had 2 groomings 1st thing, he stayed up and will be in bed till dinnertime. The best time is after we feed breakfast but not today. Maybe tomorrow. 

Thank you to Sherry for bringing me my order of food. I do appreciate it. Hope I gave you enough money as I couldn't find the receipt or maybe I am blind. The mind goes quickly when you have too much to do. Do remember the compliment though. LOL Thank you!

Dogs are quiet as I type. Imagine that - how nice. 

It will be a mostly indoor day with brief times outdoors. I put a National Geographic show on and a few of the dogs was howling at the tv. It was a riot!

Wild, Fun Play

I did manage to get the dogs combed out. I combed one, checked on pups - well actually had phone visual to check. It has been an insane day and it is not over.

None of the dogs adjusted to the time change to the point Dennis said just come down around 6am. Oh well.... no extra sleep for us. It has been an experience. Having girls in heat greeting the door has been - well not fun. I need a better solution. Having Dennis sleep while I am answering the door and expect to hear anyone speak - well how foolish of me. 

Still, we managed to go out and enjoy - the dawgs and I many times a day. They wanted to bark at the neighbour raking leaves. It didn't help that he was teasing the dogs - yes teasing. Some people are clueless. I had to say - can you stop? He was making silly noises hanging over the fence with his dog. I mean really...

I did get laundry done. It's 330 and I am massively tired.

Dennis is going to do a hide and seek game with them after dinner while I do the dishes. Not eating but one meal. No time to cook and just too tired. Dogs are getting their meals. That is what counts. Here's to a day and a half done. 

Oh and pups are eating every hour and a half. I do help them with that. Nami is an incredible mom. Sage is too so I am lucky but next year I will get a cabin somewhere and leave Nathan home. He needs to experience this. LOL

Busy But Fun House for Dogs

Let's see - here is our day - in and out and play and play. This is Maury's first overnight. He is playing up a storm. He particularly loves Jax.

Ms Ellie is going home in a half hours and Kallie is coming for grooming and an overnight. 

Harlow is back looking for the rabbits and so are others now too. 

Someone, who will remain nameless and putting their paws and face in the water bowls so we need towels to dry it up and freshen up the bowls frequently.

Ms. Cassie is departing today. She will so enjoy seeing her parents. She had a really fun time.

The dogs are going out now for retrieval game. There are so much leaves on the ground. The dogs love running through the leaves. 

I could go on but I won't as I really have stuff to do. 

I also had to call Bell to add on roaming to Nathan's phone. Oh boy... as if I had the time for that!

Play Before the Day

Nathan is off at 4am tomorrow. We will be waking up extra early. He was playing with Rocky before his nap.

My ipad is having a terrible time charging. We tried different cords, a new charger and we think it is the port. It won't be able to be fixed till Nathan returns as it is out of warranty and Nathan said no time today. It's an old one but I use it daily. Right now it is charging if I leave it in position with a slow charger so it takes much time but its charging. Maybe tonight it will be up to a 100%. LOL I use it more than my computer.

Our kitchen stove is really going now. It either undercooks or scorches so at least a toaster oven works. I hate Samsung. I also have a BBQ. So, I am covered with some creativity.

Had a number of dogs arrive - few going today. Rocky was one to arrive. He is having so much fun.

No one is hunting today including Harlow. She is the leader of the pack. She looked. Perhaps she didn't see anything or smell. Maybe the rabbits have moved on. Time will tell. 

Dennis is going to head out in a few to play retrieve. 

The dogs are having fun and at least its not too cold. No snow here. Let's keep it that way for  a bit, please.

Nice Day Indeed

After chasing the pick up the leafs guys after telling Nathan NO, Dennis can't do them when he's sleep days and I am sleeping nights, he picked up the phone to call. Seems they don't ever get to email. Oh boy - these are our irrigation guys - newly sold to someone else. They now come Tuesday while Nathan is gone. Maybe all the leaves will be done by then.

The dogs have leafs in their hair, all over our floors. Dennis is getting sick of vacuuming 4 times a day and he literally is. I take the leaves out of them and comb them out. I hate this time of year but hate snowballs on them more.

Rosey, Elvis, Amy was here for sprucing up. Let's hope Amy loves Amica. She will have someone that walks her a few times a day. They so love her.

Harlow got a bunch helping her hunt. she is so in her element and by her body, you can tell how fun this is for her and she loves the others joining in.

Dennis did make piles of leaves out back but they ran through them as if it was a new game. There are no more piles. He couldn't believe but what did he expect when you have these mounds. Were they just going to look at them? I think not. 

It's been a good day. Nathan is packing tomorrow and then he is off. His fun will begin and so will ours. I think I prefer his. LOL

It's Truly Deep Fall

Places in Ontario got snow but not us. We still have some leaves on the trees. It is cool. The sun is out bright. The dogs are invigorated by the coolness. They are enjoying in and out and play. They are jumping through the leaves like crazy. We had a service booked for leaf clean up but they won't return our calls. It will have to wait till after Nathan gets back before Dennis can do anything. He will be sleeping days - me night and one of us will be up when the other is not. 

In a couple of days Nathan will be away for a week. Oh boy! We will survive. When he gets back, we will have Sage getting her xrays. It will be a busy house. 

I will be combing my dogs here and there. Some are going. Some are departing. 

One of our dog parents is moving into Amica Retirement on Friday and gets to bring their dog so we are - well I am - getting their dog spruced up for her move with mom and dad. I hope she likes it there as it is a busy place.

Fun in Bush

We do not have many photos. Dennis and I are in recovery with Nami.

Crazy Day

Here is the gallery.

I had to do dogs that are due to go home tomorrow today - grooming due to Nami. One is still coming but she won't arrive till tomorrow and depart tomorrow. It's been a day. It's not only that I have to watch Nami, but I have to anticipate and groom ahead where I can. It's crazy.

It's wet outside. Dogs still have fun despite the weather.

We have another heat in a puppy - Kinsey - so I will really go nuts while Nathan is away. Gad help me. I broke down in tears thinking about it. All I can say is all the pups need to be good. 

I need to update Nami's blog so I am going to make this short but it is 423pm and Harlow is howling for her dinner. It makes me laugh!

Thank you to Magic's mom for the meat - so appreciated as cooking may not be easy with the Nami.

Leaf Time
