Now who is really having fun?
They came, they ran, they had a blast!
We had a blast today. The weather was good and we played so many games but retrieve was their fave. Barry even managed to get the toy first so many times and even managed to win the game of tug. Here are some photos unedited from today.
Some of the dogs got to play with the pups but not all wanted to. Barry, Tiny, Lily, Roxie, Inula and Ella was keen on it. You will have to see the photos in the puppy gallery but Zoe and Brewer was not interested. I think it had something to do with them descending like locusts on each dog that entered.
It was fun.
Can I get up too?
Dennis is all mine so...
Isn't that right, Dennis?
Then it's time to play... and play they did.
It's been a fun day.
Teddy went home today after his bath and soon Ash and Grey will depart. Its been a fun day with the dogs playing their hearts out.
Zoe, Lila, Barry and Ty are doing amazing. Ty departs tomorrow. It's quieter times but truly fun ones. I will try to get photos tomorrow. Sometimes I just need some time off. :-)
We had the 6 week visit with pups so I am clicked out. But I managed to get a few head shots of the dogs. After the play this is what occurs - chill out moments and they are important too. They don't last long but it allows them to get back to the play.
Hard to get photos today. We had a puppy washing day and clean out and reorganize pens. Then Dennis and Jon will be holding down the fort so to speak while we go out to dinner. But I figure I best get the blogs done before we go. I don't like doing them last minute. Last thing at night I like to have a few minutes of rest before bed.
Dogs are all doing well. Here is an unedited gallery of just one time they were out. They have been out many, many times but we don't always click photos. We play with the dogs, clean up etc. Here is the gallery.
These photos were also taken before I brushed out everyone. I brush out, check ears, bums and pads and oh yeah clean up around eyes.
Sorry for ot being short but it may be tomorrow as well as we have our 6 week puppy visit.
Today all the dogs were whining and whining to play with the pups but they are not quite ready for that yet.
They played, they napped, they were groomed and then they played again. They ate, they played and now its rest and tv time. Sounds boring but not for them.
Here's just a few photos taken today.
Check out the gallery tonight on Panda's blog and the videos and Clarity departing photos tomorrow.
Here's Teddy saying he is not impressed with this brr cold and wet outside and none of them are.
Barry arrived and is fitting in perfectly. Teddy sniffed him up and went oh I like him!
Just call us 'trying to stay warm and dry'.
Sorry - with this weather I didn't click the adults at all but did manage to get them all brushed out and I had 2 baths to do. Washer also stopped working - well the panel did so it would only do rinse. Can't wash clothes that way so Nathan got it finally on normal but that's an hour of washing. So, after that load I iunplugged and plugged in. Tragedy averted. It's working - for now.
Dennis also got the pond cleaned and our gazebo cover on and I did do laundry and had play sessions with pups in the kitchen. Dogs were whining as they wanted to play with them but they are not old enough yet.
Inula is over her heat - we are doing the happy dance. This was a 4 week land of crazy. When you hear whining in the background or nonstop barking its Kat as he thinks he is going to miss his window and he did. Truffie just whimpers under his breath and tries to be real good as if to say please...
All the dogs are doing well today but they didn't like the hail. They were caught in it when we were out - well 'I' was out. Ouch. I hope yesterday's gallery holds you over for a day or two. Tomorrow is class and baths but I will do my best. I am going to watch 'Gone Girl' with the dogs as its not Nathan's cup of tea.
I am still learning the gopro and when its nice outside I want to strap it to Inula and get a perspective of the play from her level. It should be fun.
That's it for tonight! Try to stay dry!
I watch the dogs and no matter what happens they always manage to have fun. They truly know the meaning of letting loose. Oh, life should be like that. Here's a gallery of unedited photos. No time to eliminate blurs, cut offs and what have you so enjoy it anyway.
Sun has been blazing bright all afternoon. Morning - rain - hard and soft.
Today I got everyone brushed and combed out while Nathan was at the store. Dennis was sleeping. Jonathan was taking a shower and the pups were sleeping. Jon got out of the shower and the shower wouldn't turn off. I mean full blast so I go running around trying to find the shut off and finally find it but one can't do without water throughout the house so after getting past the ' oh my gad now look at that water I am wasting' Jon went to work and I went to find a screwdriver. I took off the knob and pushed the mechanism in. It worked. Life is grand when you are highly stressed.
While I went a tad crazy the dogs were barking. I am rather conditioned to it as we still have Inula in heat and if you hear a dog barking in my videos, its Kat. That is what happens night and day till heats are over. No wonder Nathan goes to the store daily.
Other than that we have had a good day. Everyone really likes each other. The adults have sniffed pups we have carried around. It's good for the pups and good for them.
Glad I didn't do gardening work. Its supposed to drop to freezing. There's a reason for my laziness. hahaha
Now off to do the 2 other blogs.
Here's a few photos from today. Looks like its supposed to rain all week. The dogs aren't crazy about the outside but we go out anyway.
We have Lily and Grace here. They are not one of ours but they are litter mates. Teddy dropped in when we were in the midst of fixing a leaking shower and leaking toilets. The dogs were barking and it was a crazy house. But it all settled in and so did Teddy. He was so happy to see me. It was so nice! Teddy's family is going to have a grandchild this week. How exciting!!!
Lila and Zoe fit in like they always have been here. Mabel does to but she's not crazy about the wetness. She departs tomorrow - so soon.
The dogs are doing really great despite the wet but I was silly. I brushed them all up and they don't look like I touched a comb to them for a week. Well not that bad but....
Tomorrow rain they say.
We also have fun indoors but I tried to get Dennis to click outside or Nathan but today they wanted to chill out. So we only have a few photos. Weather has cooled off. We now have some of the furniture out and the dogs love it. We still have much to do but with cooler weather maybe it will get done. My garden needs oh about a weeks worth of work - hahahaha
Ozzie was here for the day and well he's intact and we just forgot Inula's still in heat. Leti is now out. So, poor old Inula is in Nathan's office. Inula and Ozzie get along great but he was HIGHLY interested. Oh wel this heat shall pass - hoping soon.
Maddie also was here and had a grand time. she even played with Ozzie as you can see. Lila tried to boss him around. Zoe just looked as if to say who are you?
Lily and Ty rather have some real familiarity but they are each expanding their friends to others. Its wonderful to see. Soon it will be tv time and Nathan will be getting massive cuddles. I may indulge myself in dog hugs after pups are fed and blogs are done.
Shelby is on her way of being certified.
From Barb: We did it. Shelby was absolutely awesome. She was so calm, cool and collected. You certainly were right about her. The next step is to undergo 3 monitored visits (an evaluator accompanies us) to a nursing home and then we are officially certified. Thank you so much for bringing us together Barb
Patches is such a smart girl!!
Well we had people over and they had fun with the dogs. It's been a truly sunny day. Here are some photos.
Scavenger Time
Lilly and Zoe.... Lilly is not one of ours but she hangs out with Ty (they are friends) and Ty is coming tonight.
Bella and Simba. Simba and Bella and Bailey haven't been here for sometime and they just went ah I remember. Such an easy adjustment. Bella and Bailey depart tomorrow and Simba on Monday.
Max we haven't seen for a long time and he departs tonight - just here for the day. It has been a pleasure.
Lila had words with Inula. I think she was taken aback by her invitation to play and then they started investigating and then fully playing. See Inula you are a good big dog socializer.
Maddie's mom is celebrating her birthday so we get to play with the Maddie. Such a pistol she is! It's a riot!
Can I see the puppies?
These 2 love each other.
Bailey has been playing with everyone. Bella likes the girls best!
Here's Maddie waiting till Adele comes down the path so she can try to cut her off. She's already learned. It's hard to catch Adele!
Adele and Zoe really like Bailey.
That's it for today. I will try to get some action ones tomorrow. With visitors I clicked very little and by the time I did the dogs were starting to say - nap time!
Kat says Panda is not in heat any longer and Leti doesn't get my howling but Inula... well hoping they too come out soon.
Sun is shining. Dogs are enjoying outdoors. We have much to cleanup. I am either not feeling well or I am exhausted. So the blog is short. We have visitors tomorrow and oh well they will see a messy garden. I am sure everyones is at this stage except my daughter who has done hers completely. Don't you hate those types? HAHAHAHAHA
Well everyone is enjoying this balmy weather. I will try to do better tomorrow or Sunday. It depends on how tomorrow goes. If all work and no down time - well the blog suffers.
Picnic date has been selected so mark your calendars for July 18th.
I have had a terribly busy day. I washed 7 dogs and we did puppy feedings, laundry and well we spent time playing with the dogs. I am exhausted. Nathan is with Clarity at class. I didn't have any energy and I didn't want to do blogs when I got back.
Nathan only took a few photos. Dusty departs tomorrow. She seems to be the one that says lets play this way. heh
Lila and Zoe are having a blast. We are still dealing with heats. Tomorrow I am doing a bunch of groomings for others so another busy day. I am tired so if this blog doesn't make sense - well now you know why.
Nathan sent me photos. Looks like Clarity worked well in class for Angela. Bravo! Will be there next week to watch.
I was so busy playing with the pups and dogs that I didn't click today. I am sorry - so no photos.
We found an amazing home for Clarity. Angela has been asking for a dog that was a tad older for quite sometime. We have been sitting on the fence - shall we keep - does she have another journey. We love her to bits but we will see her and for that I am thankful. She will be heading to Patches home after her classes are completed. That's another 2 classes. It's extra hard with the older ones but Angela is amazing so....
Tiny was here. Ella wouldn't play with him at first. He barked lets play. She was playing hard to get but finally they were rolling and playing their hearts out. Then Dusty, Lila and Zoe jumped in and it was grand laughing fun.
Everyone got brushed out today but you can't tell.
It's been a day... Haven't had time to play with the Gopro except to do the videos. I need to perfect my skills. I will - eventually!
Teddy came by for a bath and play and this was him after his bath. When he went home I put his hair up. Hos owner says that won't last. Now I wait to see if it does.
Don't bug me. It's warm and I am catching zzzs
Dusty saying hi to a puppy. Dusty came this afternoon.
It was a gorgeous day fillled with sun, running and playing dogs. It was a blast. Now we are off to watch the Voice. :-)
Yutube is still not working so I give up for today.
Gorgeous summer like day today and the dogs loved it but unfortunately we were enjoying vs clicking.
Is that a bird, a squirrel or both?
Nathan the ponytail must go backwards. hahaha
Gardening continues. Oh the cleanup... Have to wait till the pups are hanging outside. We are decreasing plants this year. Maybe a party?
Today I washed Logan with headphones on so I didn't have to listen to boy moaning (gals in heat). I went outside and dragged a kitchen chair as no one got the deck furniture out. I put up my feet and vegged feeling the wind much like the dogs did then Dennis let the boys out and my peace was gone.
Oh and uploads are stalled to a slug rate.
Zoe and Lila is having a total blast. Will have to get them swimming when we open the pool.
Did you enjoy today's weather?
Adele crawled into my lap, snuggled in and went ah Mom is outside enjoying the warmth too. it just didn't last that long.
