Busy Day

Inula got 2 group 3s today as there were two shows. It is impossible for Ella to get anything. Glad Inula got wins - unexpected. She deserves it but you never know.

It's been a day. I managed to play my heart out with the dogs, take care of the pups, do laundry, feedings and Dennis just woke up. Tomorrow I am sending him to bed so he can wake up in the afternoon so blogs will be late tomorrow. 

Today I only have a few photos. Truffie's brother Cody is here. He's a love. He just settled in last night and he is great with the schnauzers. He hugs me like Truffie, I am in heaven. I am tired and in 2 hours the bed calls me so I want to eat. The trio is great!!

Pups are all doing wonderful but I have to sit with Spice's pups each feeding. It is paying off as they are now gaining almost an ounce in 24 hours or just below that. I can already see the difference. Jeannie's are all over a pound except one gak - 1st born.

Just a Few

Had a busy day. I had to wash 2 dogs, do feedings, get all the dogs brushed out and so much more that you don't want to know so I only have a few photos to share. This was Ella after her bath.

WE (the dogs and I) managed to have fun but Dennis slept in late. I juggled and still we got it done. To complicate things the moms do not want the schnauzers anywhere near the room where the pups are. I guess that is instinct.

I will tell you though that the 3 have really meshed with my crew. It's nice. This is good for them and for mine. They are eating well, playing fully and sleeping and snuggling. It's a good visit.

Photos of a Dry and Very Wet Day

Yes even when we are busy we play retrieve and running, and hide and seek and silly crazy things. We managed to get a ton in before it started raining and raining.

After getting literally soaked they came in to chill in the tv room and now I am cleaning blankets, feet and all sorts of things. Why can't laundry just do itself especially folding. heh

We have had a thoroughly busy but fun day.

Minimal Update Today

We have 3 visitors here - non havanese that are having a blast with us and ours with them. This will be a short update today. 

Things

We are not doing an update other than this. I need to play recovery. I had no sleep and will be crashing tonight. I am not sure if I am making sense. I am hoping I make it to 9 or 930. I told Nathan I can't do anymore than that. 

I am hungry. I ate food I think that was overdone (leftovers). I now need to wash 1 more dog to go home. 

So indulge me. 

No Update Today

I had to bathe and groom a lot today. I just now finished. I had dogs that were visiting that had to go home today and then I had to bathe those departing tomorrow just in case Spice gives us some small surprises. I even managed to get Logan and Panda done who was overdue. So its a no photo crazy day. 

Dennis now needs my computer so he can set up the camera in the Spice pen. Oh boy last minute - not fun. 

Crazy Dogs

Just putting up a few photos mostly of their play inside. Outside I have had to wash feet constantly and clean, clean the floor. So I am out of steam. The dogs as usual are having a blast!

Daisy has such a mischievous smile.

They had a ton of play outside but also a ton inside. Now they are snoozing with Nathan doing tv and nap time. hehe The dogs and Nathan both need to have a nap. Dennis is also sleeping so he can do night time. 

That's it for tonight. No matter how exhausted they still manage to have fun and when they do we do!

I am So Cute

Rocco said I had a bath and don't I clean up well? His feet from playing was so black he had the 2 times wash.

Will try to get a gallery of the dogs later on but it depends. As Spice keeps digging and acting silly but temps up I figure maybe rest before makes most sense and well I need some the way I have been going. So gallery perhaps. 

Dogs all had a nap. They played and have been having a blast. They are continuing play. me, I want a nap.

Out of Time Day

Coops is hanging ot till tomorrow. He is so in love with the Ella. I have to laugh.

I was goin to put up this long blog with lots of photos but instead I put them in a gallery. 

Had dogs to brush, baths to do, dogs to play with and well now I need to snuggle with the dogs. 

So a short blog. Hope you don't mind!

It's Been a Day

Been juggling a lot but managed to get through most except this blog. This was an insanely busy and noisy day with baths etc. Nathan's brother was helping us fix the leak mess we had and every sound the dogs barked and barked and barked. Funny thing was it was rarely the same dog but they got each other going. I kept trying to be creative and each would feed the other and then he departed and I played catch up and they were quiet. Poor Dennis has had no sleep. I guess today wasn't the best day to do it but the only day. Now we get to finish it as the drywall is up. Such fun stuff. Then our son Tal came in and bark, bark bark and Nathan has been out with his brother so - can I go to bed? Well Nathan is now home and Dennis went to bed till 10.

Rocco and Reggie's playdate!

This is Laci's yard. It looks quite nice and low maintenance but I think my dogs would be in those plants.

Here are some photos taken today. Some good - some not so good but it depends who was clicking with what.

Everyone was combed out - all by me. What a day... but they looked for their treat and they were all good for me.

This was before his comb-out but he's cute none the less.

 Truffie is my gentle soul. I just love him!

So where is the food? Oh I don't eat at the table?

Ozzie came today with excitement and fun. He is having a heck of a good time. 

Tiny came to play and well have fun and that he did. I bet you he is sleeping at home now.

So, is it MY turn yet? She's been great about grooming but surely wants the treat!

Coco says is that all you got? This was after she wolfed down her breakfast. I just love how excited about the food she is.

This was Chase before she had her bath today. I just love her love for a cool breeze and sun. She adores the outside.

The dogs had a literal blast today and they tested me many times over playing off each other but I am better for them. I do so love each of them. Till tomorrow.

Give Me Snow

Risa looked like she was enamoured by the white stuff falling. Oh it didn't last as it warmed up but surely beat having so much mud tracked in. Nathan combed out some dogs. I combed out others. Dennis got up earlier than the day before. It means he will nap tonight after dinner till we go to bed.

The sun is shining. Here are some photos taken today - no edits - it is what it is.

Dogs are having fun but at the moment they are napping with Nathan. Think I am terminally tired but this soon shall pass till Spice. I sat with the dogs and had a ton of snuggles. It felt ever so good. Dennis is going to do a run through the house as its too slippery to do it outside and the dogs have a blast when he indulges them like that. 

Usually I make a corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes but have to buy it first. Thats okay as it goes on sale after today. I am not Irish but I try to celebrate holidays of friends. It gives us a taste of their traditions. 

Give Me a Treat

We have a mud pile out back or so it seems. I am not doing photos today as I am too busy cleaning feet. Some are purposeful reoffenders and we won't tell you who. Dogs are having fun. They are at this moment having some downtime after much play.

Daisy sports a short hairdo these days so brushing her out is easy and she loves being groomed. If you forget to give her the treat she will let you know.

Dennis is sleeping days. He is still not up but when he is I need to wash Benji and brush out Logan and Panda before departing. I had french onion soup - yum but that's it. Think I am ever so tired but maybe we will go to bed early. I rather doubt it but fun thinking about it.

No big update today. Everyone is well. They are just keeping me busy with cleanups.

Dreaming

This is a no post day or a half ahem post. We are dreaming of warmer times. Can you imagine pups swimming? I can. Timmy and Cha Cha were the youngest litter yet to swim.

Someone said to take a nap. Nathan is but well Jeannie demands attention. She is feverishly digging and panting. No nap for me. Dennis is playing with the dogs. 

Scruffy and Pepper were combed out but I get the feeling they won't look that way by the time Lori and Roger gets here but we shall try.

Spring Like Yuck Weather

As we face the melt the mud comes and so does the wet bodies, muddy footprints on the floor and much cleanup for me of dawgs. I have to laugh as I feverishly got everyone washed before Jeannie's pups to debut only to have them turn out well wet and muddy. Oh well....

Inula got puppy in breed, Ella baby puppy in breed and group. I am waiting for them to come home. I haven't heard from them. So before I get food ready for the crew I figure I would put up our wet welcome to almost spring photos. The top one from Rocco was sent to us.

Abby has no issue with getting soaked. She departs tomorrow so we will bathe her just before pickup. Jeannie best not have pups so I can get it done.

Some like to get soaked - others not. 

Chase and Truffie think those that dive in the remaining snow must be silly.

Roll, roll and get soaked will ya. :)

Scruffy just arrived so he is still dry but we shall see what the day brings.

Coco is another that LOVES the wet. I am cleaning marathon style. 

Daisy likes the water so much I have to remind her that we can't swim yet.

Chief is a shall I get wet - shall I not... oh lets...

Oh and Benji is hopeless. He gets drenched!

Nose kisses are the best and it seems to happen often. The dogs really like each other.

Well off to make dinner for the dogs and brush once again, wash feet and undercarriages etc. oh and wai for Nathan to get home.

Two Updates Today

Ella got baby puppy in breed. If Jeannie cooperates they try it again tomorrow.

Its been mighty slushy outdoors so the dogs didn't want to run but some still played including Jazmyn and Marlee who I had to rinse down again as they head out tonight.

Life is a blast when you are a dawg - I tell you! Play, eat, snuggles, groom - ok not fun till the treat comes. 

Think we all need a nap. Nathan is home saying how tired he is. I am too after staying up half the night checking on Jeannie and when that is done the way she is going I get to do it again for Spice. Soon Miss Abby goes. Her type of fun will be missed too.

What a Friday the 13th

Nothing for Inula today. You see Nathan was so worried about Jeannie he missed the time to go in the ring for puppy. Its a very political weekend so I do not expect Ella to get anything as its indeed a pro weekend with these judges but all good practice.

The dogs are all doing well. They are inside as we have someone cutting trees down next door and they want to serenade them or maybe do a rah rah chant to them. So we are doing indoor fun things.

Start of Day Plus More Photos Later On

These are photos Nathan took at 715am after the dogs ate and went outside. This is Coco and Ella. They just adore each other. They have become tight pals. 

Now I have a few photos taken today later than 7amish. I have been busy getting the dogs ready that are going to the show plus I got everyone brushed except Risa which I will get done in a bit. I just finished doing Inula and while Nathan is at the class I will make sure he has all the grooming tools for the show and Ms. Ella will have a bath. I am going to have to miss Ms Clarities 1st class as I can't chance being away from Ms. Jeannie even though I don't think she will have pups tonight, I do not need her stressed. I am upset that I will miss Ms Clarity but just life.

Exhausted

Dogs have been playing, getting wet and enjoying life. But I am going to keep this short. I am exhausted. In case we have pups tonight I want to pace myself. Nathan also has class tonight so I want to just snuggle with the dogs and not worry about updates unless pups come. I also have to make sure everything is back in place for the pups as I had packed it for the vet trip. 

I did come home to wash a dog, brush others out, update the blogs. Now I am getting everything back in place to be ready. 

Wet Warmer Day

We had a fun filled day today. We had Lucy and Rusty come to play today. They both added a sense of true fun to the day. They played and played with everyone. 

I would like to add more photos to the gallery but I have a conference tonight and we have a visitor. I also need to be ready for the vet visit tomorrow. 

The dogs are having a ridiculous amount of fun indoors but when outdoors - wet, wet, wet. When the feet gets dirty all you need to do is rinse. Some use a shampoo conditioner mix. Rub on feet and rinse. Some let them air dry then brush the dirt out. It depends on how you want to do it and how dirty they are. You won't ruin their hair doing their feet daily - if you must.
