Temps Going Up?

Her temps are now 99.2. When they go down real low, then back up, it is usually 12 to 24 hours from the height of going back up. But did she have a true drop? Time will tell. If she did, tomorrow from early morn  may be the day.

We can't do anything but wait.

Spirit in Wait

Her temps at 8am 98.7 so she is still going down. Once it goes completely down, then the 1st stage begins. Normal temp range for a dog is 101 to 102.5. We are looking for a low of 98. The checking temps dp not always work as you have to catch the drop and then watch the rise but if you do, it is pretty accurate. She did eat today after not eating all yesterday. To me, this say not today. Things can change by evening but we shall see.

Temps Still Up

Temps are 99.5 earlier. Going to check again. She did not eat today. They are now 98.9 so going down.

2 Beauties To Come

Click on Photo for Larger Viewxrays show 2. I suspected 1 or 2. With Ella and Willow being HUGE, they will have much more. I expect at least 1 chocolate.

Our repro vet said this weekend but could take an extra day as she only has 2. She is not eating.

Difficulty

As usual, Spirit is a challenge to feed before deliver and sometimes after. I so love her but she surely drives us crazy. She always seems to get enough nutrition in but in our minds we always want her to have more. Her xrays are 3 weeks away. Tempie will have already had her puppies by then. A couch will have to be moved out to make room. Lots of work ahead of us but many happy families, I imagine.
