Fun Mind and Strategy Games

It is always good to create games where it gets your puppy to think and to strategise. This is what this toy does. it started out slow with some watching them attempts and suddenly they were getting treats out. They learn what gives them success by try try and trying. They also didn't get frustrated. They simply had fun.

Check out the videos.

By using toys like this, you teach them to love learning and they eventually learn success, It is a win/win. This is easy to drop out treats. Usually it has a cap on it with a hole drilled out but that's my next step. This toy - we have 2 of them that need repairing was made for us. You can also use snuffle mats to hide treats so they learn to use their nose but this is one step more complicated and more challenging. I like what they learn from it.

Pups are getting older and are indeed learning through play and through challenges. Bravo little ones! What a huge change in less than 2 weeks.

Tunnels and Toys

The puppies love tunnels and toys. You can find so many choices online from Amazon to specialty stores. the quality varies. Even the adults like the tunnels and little houses they can lay in and play in and so do the moms. You will see it in the videos from time to time.

The pups are so fun now. They make your heart skip a beat - seriously!

Check out the videos. I will upload them shortly.

No Food

Pups had no food at night last night. They are hungry come morning so we scramble to make sure they are fed 1st. Why do we do this? We are conditioning them to not eat at night, reduce output so less wakeups at night in order for them to go home to you.

Here are the videos.

We are also keeping them up more during the day so they sleep at night. Our goal is when they go home to you, they have 3 meals a day. They are up more during the day and they sleep at night. We will get there. We always do.

Here they are above eating but 1 is missing, Can you believe? But that lone pup ate too.

Run Up and Down

Here is the gallery.

Do you remember when they barely was able to get up on the ramp or slide? Now they run up and down it and play with abandon on it.

They sleep more than not at night already. They hit the pad more than not. They are on track and doing really well.

They are now out 4 times a day. We keep them out till they are tired and then they sleep a long time. The more they expel energy, the better they sleep.

Who is Eating Mom's Food

Here is the gallery.

If I leave the gate open, the pups now pile right out not caring if they land on their face. they are still perfecting that skill. I only took a few videos and photos today. I hope you do not mind.

The pups are delicious!
