3 Weeks Old

Can you believe 3 weeks ago Willow had her pups?

Here is the gallery.

I have to laugh at the curiosity of a couple and 1 found the pad himself. Wow!

The pups will now be at a stage where I will weigh them every couple of days. They usually try to jump off the scale so that can be interesting. Still, we try till it doesn't work. LOL

Check out the videos.

They are the - mom where are you crew? It's eating time. LOL They do like to eat. Poor Willow has so much milk she almost bursts. I am hoping it slows down as she is not feeding Leti's pups. We shall see.

Here is the gallery.

We place them on the pad when they get up and after feeding. No one is getting it yet but they are young. This is called slow conditioning.

Be sure to watch the videos.

19 Days Old

The Willow pups call out to mom - it's time to feed. It is rather funny.

Here is the gallery.

They look out. They are often seen up against the pen to see what is going on in the room.

Two more days and they will be 3 weeks old. Can you believe?

Each day I hold every single one of them getting them used to it. No complainers. No so busy they can't find patience for a hug. They all seem to like it!

Be sure to check out the videos.

Do you notice, no railings? The pups are now out of their whelping box. They embraced it well. Willow wanted to do a bit of reorganizing as I guess I didn't decorate properly.

Here is the gallery.

This gives them more room to explore and spread out. They can also clearly see the Stormy pups. In a few days the Leti pups will be out of their whelping box and they will be able to get used to each other. Then the next stage is putting them all together during the day.

The journey is unfolding.

Be sure to check out the videos.

You have to watch the videos as they are starting to play. I keep missing Stormy's crew. they are such low key, siesta time that i will be grooming and Nathan yells they are playing. I get the camera going and they stop. Oh boy.

But that's okay - you can see Willow's engaging with each other. Check out the videos.

Also this gang when they want to eat lets mom know.

Here is the gallery.

Here is the gallery.

You can see the beginnings of their getting active in the videos.

Not all have their eyes open. Tonight - tomorrow - we shall see.

Another One Open

Yes, another Willow with eyes open. More coming later. They so know their mom.

Here is the gallery. I still have to check when they are awake to see if anymore have opened their eyes.

Their world is about to change as they open their eyes, theier eyesight gets clear and they find that all the ones they were snuggling with were siblings. Bonus!

At about 3.5 to 4 they will all be together as one. Then the outside and upstairs play sessions begin.

Be sure to check out the videos.

The pups are starting to verbalize when they want mom and they are attempting to walk. It's a riot.

Here is the 1st to have it's eyes open. It's Willow's boy - well one of them.

Almost 2 weeks already. How can that be? Is it going by slow or fast for you. I often wonder.

Here is the gallery.

Soon they will be getting up on their legs, walking, seeing and hearing. Things will change when that occurs.

They are fat. They are crawling and noisy squeaks when they want mom.

Be sure to check out the videos.

It's hard to believe they are edging up to 2 weeks old.
