27 Days Old

We are almost 4 weeks. Soon we will be drinking and eating from a dish. Imagine that!

Here is the gallery.

Pups are way comfortable with their environment as if they were always out of the whelping box.

I love being able to sit in their area and play with them. I should take a video of it.

Videos are coming...

Here's looking at you.

Here is the nail cutting gallery.

Yes, they had their nails done and managed to get a video. Now maybe they won't get caught on my clothes. They get awfully happy to see me. It's the highlight when pups and dogs wag their tails at you. It is the best feeling.

Here is the gallery.

As you saw, last night I set up their areas and I have to say they are more active and curious. It was great timing and well the boy insisted it was the right time. He was highly agile and curious so after his repeated climb outs, he got to look at the world outside the whelping box. He is such a happy soul and the gal is too.

Neither of them reacted to the change with anything but wow we have room. I can see you. I can see those other pups.

Be sure to check out the videos.

3, 4, 5

I uploaded a few videos but both sets of pups are out of the whelping box. After 5 times of climbing out - yes the boy - it was time. Now they can look at each other. More problematic is can they get to mom from such a large area.

I did it all myself as Dennis was practicing surgery on his foot as he has glass imbedded in it.

Here is the gallery.

As there are only 2 and mom has enough milk, I have decided to wait to feel solid food when the Tempie pups do at 3.5 to 4 weeks old. We have done this in the past and it works out well in bonding the  litters.

No one climbed out last night or today. If it happens again, the whelping box will go.

These 2 do play with each other and the boy likes to lay on the entire body of the gal at time. He's funny.

Be sure to check out the videos.

24 Days Old Escape

Yes, Spirit has been brushed up - so laughing at her look. This was 1st thing this morning. I comb them out daily but they get messy as the pups crawl through and over the moms.

See the gallery.

Pups are walking and have waggy tails to see me. It's wonderful.

Videos are coming shortly.

We may have to take this crew out of the whelping box as the boy climbed out. It's amazing how he gets out.
