Taking in the Warmth

The dogs and I are enjoying this weather. It is incredibly lovely. The dogs just want to be out and play and play and play! Can you blame them? I am even walking around in summer clothes. What a tease before cold comes.

There is incredible games being played with the squirrel and rabbit chasing. Don't worry. They won't do them harm. They are simply playing a game. At least raccoons and skunks aren't around. I am forever thankful for that!

I have had a lot of fun watching the running and the exhaustion after engaging in play. They come in. They nap and start again. We do not have our heat on. We actually still have air on. How about you?

Oh Hot Play

It is warm. Leaves have fallen. 

The dogs are having fun and it is lovely weather. 

What a fine Sunday it is. 

Dogs going all day today into the night but till then they are playing like their life depends on it. It is truly outstanding!

Long Day

The plane - the plane.... Got to have some amusement and watching planes is one of them for the dogs.

I had a long day as I had to do 2 dogs last that are going home 1st thing tomorrow. May they stay clean. LOL

Dogs had a TON and I mean a ton of fun. I was able to see them each time I finished a dog. One has to have some amusement when you are working hard. It is called pacing one self. 

It is Dennis day off so no running with the dogs. That's okay. There is always tomorrow. 

Yesterday I did a sweatshirt that we need to mail out. It came out perfect and it is so her. We will get it mailed out Monday. It is for a dear friend that I know will look at it and laugh as I so know her. It was a surprise. It is ever so nice to create memories. 

I am so tired, I am not thinking. Now that is funny. 

The dogs are enjoying tv time - which they adore with Nathan. Dennis is playing a VR video game with dogs lined up beside him on chairs he places so they can. 

We have a number of dogs departing tomorrow. More on Monday... Watch out. It will get quiet around here and what will I talk about? We shall see...

Quirky Weather

Dogs are having fun. We get up at 7am and its so dark outside. By the time they have finished eating it is light out.

It is a warmer day today and the dogs are playing their heart out. It is great fun to watch. 

Rue, Oakley and Chloe departed. Tuppy, Socks and Hazel hasarrived and what players are they! Even Socks is crazy fun busy. He was so excited to be here.

Everyone is having a blast. 

Time to get up those leaves and find a snow plow guy that will do the garden come spring. Just got to face reality that I have grooming and silly added stuff. Nathan can only do less and Dennis has enough on his plate so now Dennis will have to clean the garage so the van go inside and they can plow - that is if we have snow this year.

A few days ago I stained some upright dog beds and they are still tacky. Oh boy. Can't do another coat when it takes so long.

What a Day

Dogs had a ton of fun today. I started grooming at 7am and just finished about 2o minutes ago. Dennis just fed all the dogs and is now creating dinner for me. How nice.

The dogs ran, played, jumped and had a grand time. 

Tomorrow is my day off. I am ever so looking forward to tepanyaki and good company. I need it! I have a feeling my company needs it too. 

Cold Brr

The dogs are staying warm by running around. It is cold and I am getting nagged to stain 2 huge dog bed pieces so after this blog, I will attempt to do so - joy - not. Wasn't it enough to do the pots. LOL

Stop whining - just do it!

The dogs had fun. I need to go find old ugly clothes to stain in. 

We are almost out of leftovers - can you believe. Well, the dogs have had their fair share but I thought weeks not days. Due to holidays we have extra dogs - so of course.

We can’t believe our Benny is already 5! Time goes by too fast.
He is the sweetest dog and we are crazy about him! He is such a charmer, both with people and other dogs. Even the most moody ones. We often hear from other owners how their dog doesn’t like or is afraid of other dogs and are surprised by how the dog gets along with Benny. We tell them that’s because he is Talemaker’s. They always get to hear the story about how much love and attention goes into every little detail of everything you do.

We were asked to get a photo of the brothers, Ollie, Ozzie and Meelo by Ollie's mom. It was SO HARD to get them all to look in one direction so we gave up and corralled them in this area and Nathan kept talking to them. It was our challenge today!

As you will see in this gallery the dogs were playing immenseley. What you don't see is Harlow got under brush looking for animals and had seeds all through her. One has to laugh or you would cry. Then Socks went looking for what she was looking for and nothing on him. hmmm

It is a great day!

The dogs are having a TON of fun. They are so enjoying the pool cover. We have dogs arriving due to the holiday weekend and some dogs departing. It's an amazing amount of fun that they are indulging in.

Tonight Dennis is going to add chicken broth to their food to add fun flavour. Will thjey eat it? I think so....

Happy 5th

Our wonderful Bailey is 5 years old today - where does the time go? We celebrated this weekend by taking her to pet stores, having a Scent Den sensory experience, getting lots of toys and treats, and enjoying a day of play at Talemaker. Wishing Bailey, Benny, Benji, Abby, Coco, and Tempie a wonderful day!!! It is not just a birthday but also Thanksgiving and we want to share as well that we are so grateful to Talemaker for always being there for us over the past 5 years. Nathan, Darlah, and Dennis, thank you for being Bailey's extended family, answering our questions, being so supportive at all times, keeping Bailey well-groomed and happy, playing with her and giving her so much love every time she comes to visit! Your support and love has been such a big part of the joy we have experienced with Bailey over the past 5 years (with many more to come!). Thank you for everything. Love Pippa, Judy, and Liz.

Turkey Day

Very busy day. Cooked turkey, grooming and all that stuff.

The dogs are staring at the turkey waiting for their plates - yes Dash too. I am keeping it warm so they can have warm turkey for dinner. Dennis is cutting it up now. So much work to do a big meal and do everything else. Turkey came out PERFECT. It is very moist and tasty. The dogs will enjoy it too. Then after dinner Dennis is going to do a run with them.

TGIF in October

Just another day in October. The dogs are having fun.

We had Yvonne and Alex over and ate Chinese food. 

They got their dog fix in and we had a wonderful time catching up. 

We ate outside. Dogs were running but we forgot to take photos. It was simply enjoyment and not concentrating on the clicks.

It was a good day!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. I went out to the mailbox and it looks like everyone is starting the holiday early as we had cars up and down the street.

Tomorrow Tia, Benji and Dash depart. 

Three Blog Day

We have 2 happy birthday blogs and this main blog for the day.

It's not exceedingly warm but tomorrow is supposed to be.

Dogs have been having fun. Dennis is building a cheap table that I ordered LAST year and it arrived today. They finally found it and they delivered it. They had already refunded me so I of course contacted them and they said no charge. Just glad you finally got it. It is a table that goes behind the couch so the dogs have a comfortable spot to lay behind on high. It is a quirky idea but I like the dogs being comfortable.

Thank you to Dorothy who drove all the way here to bring us chicken soup. How nice is that?

I still have to stain 2 beds that attach to my bed that I got from a friend. I am not sure if I simply don't have time or I am lazy. Tomorrow should be the day but we have friends coming over to eat out back for one last time till warmth comes again. 

I only have 1 more dog to comb out. 

After the table Dennis is going to run with the dogs. I also have a turkey defrosting in the fridge. Everyone keeps nagging me to cook it but it is still frozen. 

Not enough time - too much to do. I want the dog's life. Feed me, play with me, and well just have fun!

Watching the Laze and Play

We had some early rain and now we have sun but then again clouds now. Mother nature can't make up its mind. 

Some played. Some watched. Then they exchange positions. 

Dogs are having fun. Nathan is cooking dinner for the  dogs. Life is good with food!

The Play is CRAZY

The dogs was truly enjoying the play. It was nice to see. Run, run and more run then rest and watch.

Tenshi, Jax, Katie and Trigger departs tomorrow. They will be missed! Ms Sadie is coming tomorrow - fun!!

Coco is going to be thrilled seeing her sister Hazel tomorrow and Ellie will take over her spot from Ella. LOL. 

It is Dennis day off tomorrow. Mine is Thursday. 

I keep getting asked when I am cooking turkey - well not today, tomorrow or Thursday. LOL Maybe Friday? We shall see. Are you waiting for the day?

Tongues Has It

It is almost Thanksgiving and we were able to buy a 25lb butterball. Yum - leftovers and the dogs say this too. LOL

It is indeed cooler. The dogs don't mind but I am finding my fall/winter pants too big. What a thing to complain about but falling down pants are not desirable.

Dogs are departing this week and more come for the next holiday. Those that depart will miss the yum turkey. Hoping they get some at home.

Dogs played hard. They are barking for dinner. Life is predictable and well at the same time not. The dogs keep you on your toes. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Before It Rains

They say 80% rain but now it is 40% and still no rain. We had the dogs out a ton. They had so much fun. Many dogs are departing and more will come for Thanksgiving. We have to get a turkey so we have leftovers for the dogs. Priorities and it is a motivation to cook. Who has time to cook but if I can cook and have leftovers, I will figure out time. 

The dogs ran and played and had a grand time. Those that needed to be brushed was brushed. 

Tomorrow we may hunt for a good sized Butterball - perhaps at Fortinos. We shall see. I may or may not cook it on the day. We shall see. We tend to time it so at dinner the dogs have warm turkey in their food dishes. They aren't spoiled, are they? It makes me happy to see how they gobble it up.

As you are out and about, it is getting to be that season. You may choose to mask up. I already know a friend has covid. So, it is something to think about. I haven't seen her for a bit so I wasn't exposed. 

I need to stain two dog beds that sit up next to your bed. I really need to get it done before it gets too cold. 

If you are looking for a desk that is motorized that goes up and down, Best Buy has 2 colours cheap - white is more expensive, black is cheaper but both a savings of over 500 dollars.
