Basil's Departure

He wasn't crazy about his car ride but settled down during the drive and is doing really well at home.

Here is the family gallery.

We did family photos from afar and therefore could safely have memories created where you could see your face.

We miss the guy already but knowing Duncan and the family (3 kids too) he's going to have the life!

Here is the gallery from the visit and then some.

Videos are already up.

Basil's Last Bath Before Departure

Here is the gallery.

What a character he is as you can see in the gallery. Bath okay fun unless you spray my face. Blow dry - really - hang me up in the air to take photos double really?

He was actually good but really blowing warm air is - well can I go play?

We are going to miss him. believe Sage will too. Excited to hear about his journey. Lots to do for the others going home. A good portion of the day goes to getting things ready so the adult blogs suffer, Sorry about that.

Names

This is Basil. As there are 12 sometimes names have to be solidified somehow. We picked 5 and tomorrow we will add 5 or 6 more depending on how our brains react. LOL Let's see, today we concentrated on Basil, Keke (Sage lil gal), Benjamin (Sage b/w), Juno (Cinnamon tri gal) and Sully (Cinnamon black and white gal). That's only 5. By days end I will add one more. Okay I just added another Luna (Cinnamon apricot) at times looks a lot like Phoebe (Sage's apricot) but there are face differences. See how difficult it can be. Fun but we will get it watch just before they go home. So, now it looks like I am up to 7. Tomorrow 4 more and well no name too.

I am missing Koda (Cinnamon Long Line), Watson (Cinnamons Brown and White Sable), Archie (Cinnamon's Brindle Boy) and Daisy (Cinnamon's Short Line Gal). See how you do.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Sometimes Wet and Cold

This is Keke. Her siblings are called Phoebe, Benjamin and Basil. Keke is so close to the ground that she got wet and started lifting her paws. That is a sign that they are too cold. So, Nathan warmed her up and then put her back down to play. She was great. All of them were.

It was a fun day so far outdoors and indoors!

Be sure to check out the videos.

Hairy Times

Poor Sage is going to need a do over in the hair department but boy is she truly enjoying the play and the moms are truly enjoying playing with each other. How nice. They truly bond to each other sharing motherhood.

They played and played today. They are just about to go upstairs to play in the halls before bedtime at 10. A good solid hour and a half and they sleep till we wake up.

I have been here and there trying to get ready for the pups going home. Still need pertinent info from some. I so need it. It's very time intensive to do it but without the info, I can't. Getting things ready to go into bags. Food pickup occurs late Thursday. They have to get enough bags in for us. I have the shampoo and conditioner ready and treats. Still got things to complete.

Check out the gallery.

Beds On High

This bed here is actually a double carseat. The pups really like looking from up high. There are so many things they truly enjoy from soft to up high to climb up and down and all those hanging toys too.

This is going to be such a fun holiday for some people. It doesn't matter what covid brings the joy and fun of a puppy makes that fade.

Check out the gallery.

They had so much fun playing with visitors. Rusty appreciated the one on one vs all 12 running to get him to play. I do not blame him.

Playing Inside Cold Outside

The pups are so having fun. They now play in many rooms. They have played outside. They have experienced snow. We do a lot of positive conditioning with them.

They do go through fear periods a couple of times in their lives but they are minimized here due to all the positive conditioning that we do. We take this serious as a good headstart helps them to be all they are meant to be.

Here is today's gallery.

Today they were all combed out. I placed up a private video on removing knots. It was a fast video as I need Nathan as the camera guy and he just fades if too long. I will do another when I find time but this will be a start. If interested, send me mail and I will send you a link. It's not meant to be shared with everyone. It's not a professional video. It's 5 minutes of help and I am sure I missed a lot.

Puppy videos coming soon.

So How Did They Do?

No one was sore. That is part in due to her experience in giving the shots and they didn't have a reaction. That is all good.

We wanted to take them out in the snow but it wasn't really snow. It was total slush so we passed.

Here is the gallery.
