We are having fun - yeah that pool heater again. I went in to check on it when Nathan was napping and I coudl smell gas real strong. I was getting a rollout SW open error. I am soooooooooooo tired of this. But it is cooler and I think the dogs like it cooler. I am so tired of complaining so stop issues - will ya?

Rusty and Luna is getting picked up shortly. Me, I want a nap. It is Dennis day off so it was me and the camera. Jake has a hop and a skip when he sees me going into the familyroom. He says my time on your lap - ok human? He just loves it. nathan brags they all come to him. I let him believe that. LOL That is love!

Dogs are really having fun today. 

Happy 5th

Dear Darlah and Nathan,

Our Tchibo is five today! Wow, times flies so fast!

Many thanks to Talemaker family for our wonderful Tchibo. He is such a gem: from jumping into the bottom storage pouch of the stroller or when I ask him to to not barking at the doorbell when kids sleep. He is so gentle. 

We love love love our Tchibo. 

We celebrated him today by making him a “muttloaf” cake. 

Wishing Rheo and his brothers a wonderful 5th birthday.

Rheo has brought a great deal of love and companionship to my life and we have enjoyed much learning and many adventures. Thank you Darlah and Nathan for this fantastic, smart, joyful pup❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Rain then Cool

I do believe that Patches enjoys the comfort of cool. Dogs are truly enjoying laying out with Nathan. 

Pool people here and can't fix. Heater people next. At least its cool. Ipad still won't charge except with one Chromecast cable the slow way. It works as it's larger but  it charges all day and makes my ipad unusable for most of the day. We are having fun. NOT!

I need a time out. Long day grooming. Lots of irritants. At least the dogs get me by. Hope they get you by too!

Hot Sunday in May

I so love Daisy. She is such a great dog - outstanding personality. She makes us laugh.

Spent my afternoon at the Apple store and the best deal they can give my out of warranty Ipad Pro 3rd generation is we will replace for 700 dollars. Really? Seems if you lift the glass up on this model, it is very hard to compress it back and usually doesn't work. I went to a repair place too and they told me the same. No guarantee on the glass. It is way too expensive so I have a broken ipad at home while I mull it over. I use it daily and its what gets me by while I am grooming but oh well. Going to be a tough adjustment. Got to save those tips. 

Didn't even put our feet into the pool. I am so done with the pool - still hopeful but so done but the dogs walked back and forth across the stairs I imagine to cool off. Good for them. Tomorrow cooler weather is coming. 

Jake has really grown attached to me. He gives me kisses. wants to be on my lap to watch tv and if I go out he goes out too. He has really opened up and changed while visiting. He used to be shy almost but not any longer. It is wonderful how dogs are hesitant at times and then gain their confidence. Makes me happy.

Well got to feed the dogs and watch tv. That task master Dennis has me transplanting and telling me what is my problem. It's easy, mom. Heh - right. Dogs with wide eyes or indifference watch this attempt at getting it all done. I love them for it but sure wish they could talk.

Another Hot One

Thank you air. It could be worse and that could be broken too so I am and the dogs are most appreciative.

Yesterday as the dogs looked on, I went up to my waist in the pool but really it was not fun. Today Nathan went just to the bottom of his trunks. He also said this is not fun. 

Today my ipad pro won't charge so off to Apple for an out of warranty look at it tomorrow. What else will break?

Dogs do go out but its hot and they appreciate inside. I do not blame them. I appreciate the cool inside too! Cooler weather is coming Monday so best enjoy this. 

The Hot Play and All

It's been a hot one. Pool guy arrived at 730am. Trying for parts on Monday but not sure this will get it fixed. Pool is at 65f. Dogs could have used it, us too. Between the flood in basement, car, gas line and the pool and the list goes on, send me a winning lottery ticket, will ya? We are alive. The dogs are great fun so we are thankful!

I did go into the pool up to my waist. I was an ice cube. I was determined but it was not fun and when I got out I wasn't a bit cold. I wonder why. The dogs looked at me with wide wonder - wonder if that lady is loco? Must be. 

I want to say thank you to Bonham's mom for the yum lasagne. 

Mr. Ollie departed just a bit ago. His mom says traffic is HORRID. She's not the only one to say that. What's going on? Warm weather? People going places despite the gas? I can't blame them and lucky us we get to see the dogs some of the time.

Dogs have been playing now that it is getting a bit cooler. But I will tell you - they like that the air is on. 

Frustration

Rocky is about to go home but due to the heat, his face is sitting in water as much as he can. Drink, drink drink. They all are. No pool people today even though they promised us first thing. They do not even return calls or update you. They simply do not come. This is Pioneer Pools, people.

The dogs and humans could have used the pool. Oh well. I guess I will pretend that it doesn't exist and they will come one rainy day. Think we need a more responsive pool company and should explore that. Nathan still has hope.

Nathan's day off is tomorrow. I have a full day of grooming so avoiding that yard will be easier. I am also doing a sublimation class - 3 days and I have started on day 2. It started today. LOL

Other than dogs being heated up - enjoying the cushions and the shade. They are having a great time despite it all!

Another Hot Day

It is so warm we put the air conditioning on seeing we do not have the pool. But they say they are coming tomorrow and they will get it working somehow - someway. We shall see.

It's Dennis day off so we do not have many photos. Nathan never took any and I took a few. 

Dogs are appreciating the cushions being outside now and we have a coldest bowl outside that seems to be staying cold. 

Ms Gucci, Alfie and Bailey departed. Logan and Panda will depart tonight. 

No trip fuses today so we are confused but we did rearrange things. We shall see what that is about. One expense at a time. This year is choking us. 

Dogs are loving this weather but they seriously love the air more. Can you blame them? 

Play on Hot Day

Did so many dogs today. The only mental well being was the pool is still not fixed. It's hot and nathan wasn't swimming all day. I would have been jealous plus I had issues with a curcit breaker blowing so I could only do 1 dryer - takes twice as long and had to plug in this, plug in that - all taking turns. I was stressed but the dogs were either playing or lazing. Lucky them and I am so glad!

Got a Plan

We were dumping out pots and digging up plants and transplanting plants today. We are not finished but the remaining will wait as I have dogs to groom thsi week. I am a dead woman walking literally and we did not finish. But the dogs had fun watching.

I think the dogs thought it was quite smelly and fun to watch. I did see that many of my lettuce are coming back in the trug. When you do not remove soil, all sorts of things present themselves. 

We had a singular aloe plants that I transplanted just before we brought it in last fall. It grew into 2 significant size plants and about 20 or 25 babies. The Babies are all together in a pot. I know I will be giving those away and the 2 adult ones are magnificently large - like gigantic. I like to have aloe around for cuts and sunburn etc.

I am going to finish this blog. Sit outside with dogs and try to stay awake. Nathan watched the dogs.

Mother's Day

Guess who had an outstanding mother's day and was so tickled to death about it? Tempie who had Mr. Knuckles for a visit and she was out of her mind delighted and so was he. I find Kinsey also was so excited. Tempie knew it was her pup and he knew her. His human parents also brought a wondferful sign that we hung outside saying Havanese Street. Thank you!

The dogs had a wonderful day. 

I went to a couple of garden centres. Pots and plants are significantly higher. Ouch. I will look elsewhere. I am only going to get veggies, tomatoes and herbs this year. Maybe 1 hanging basket? We shall see. Really minimizing. I can justify the edible stuff as it saves us and its healthier. 

Now to watch tv as Jake is staring at me saying time - it is time.

Short Blog

The play is fun with all. Everyone is having a great warm time. Buddy is here for an additional night. Patches and Radar are a drop in for the day or overnight. Everyone is playing!

We had to go to the Apple store to get Dennis airpods replaced as they are still under warranty. I had to buy a new pencil as they do not warranty pencils beyond the 1st few months, I am told. Nathan says - that's your mom present. LOL Well I do need it as I use the pencil extensively. It is what it is.

Well having a very quick bite and I will be grooming till bedtime so I can have Mother's Day off. Hope everyone has a great one.

Why or Why?

Why do havanese bow? It is an invitation to play or simply they need a stretch like us.

It is a warmish day today and very warm next week and no end to the pool woe. argh.

We had another great dental clinic and everyone's teeth was wonderful. Nathan was running back and forth. We won't have another till December. We had one planned for August but its just too soon. We had 3 of our dogs done too. 

Thank you to Bonham's mom for the lovely tulips and card for Mother's Day. Wonderful and unexpected!

Dogs are having a great time with this weather. Nathan is spending much time out with them. Oakley departed today. Buddy departs tomorrow and he has become quite the Casanova, as of late. He will miss the gals.

Nice Day

This is Jake and he's my guy during the day and at night he is sleeping up against Nathan. It is so funny. He is playing and doing really well. He started out hesitant and then he embraced the fun. It makes me ever so happy!

Ms Murphy has departed. Pool is STILL NOT FIXED. It's an ongoing saga. What's new but at least its not warm enough to swim.

Mr. Shlomo was here for a play date and sprucing up. He had a blast. Mr. Jake and Ollie arrived. Jake just finished his meal like he was starving. LOL Ollie seems to be too preoccupied with play so as soon as they are finished, Ollie will eat without the crowd. Oakley - well he is a huge play monkey and tackled Ollie as soon as he came inside - hey buddy let's play!

Buddy and Oakley are playing their heart out. Rosey came for the day. Chester just arrived. Daisy was here playing like crazy!

It's raining. What is new? It's dog heaven here and they just finished dinner.

Really Rain Again?

Last night before we went out, we had a lightening strike in the yard. Never had that happen but we were just about to go out and saw and heard it. About 5 minutes later, we had a warning from the govt weather site that a lightening struck 0 miles from our home. No duh. No damage. It just scared the hey out of us and thankfully the dogs were inside - us too!

The dogs are having fun. They do build some gret relationships and Lachlan and Kinsey are siblings and know each other.

Today it is overcast. It's my no groom day and boy can I tell but they need a break too. They also don't care. It's just me. LOL I did ask Nathan to comb out Lachlan and Ollie. I ended up brushing and combing out them both plus the Coco. It is okay. I feel better. :-)

It is Raining

As it is raining - no gallery so I will put up some memory photos. Thi sis Truffie when he was a pup drinking from a muttini glass. They no longer make these and ours broke. I loved the uniqueness of the bowl and Truffie always drank from it like this.
