Long Night I Am Sure
She has started to nest. I was hoping she didn't deliver on the 31st. It was dad's (nathan's) birthday. Oh well. It is what it is!
Unfortunately starting in the New Year, our costs will go up. Please contact nathan for updated costs.
The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Temp is 98.0 and she is not eating. Looks like today is the day?
UPDATE: Temps are slowly going back up. Two hours ago it was 98.2 then just now it is 98.5. Could be today but as slow as this is going it could be in the wee hours. No nesting yet.
Back down to 98.4. I do believe she will keep me up all night. Oh my...
Her temps are back up to 99.4. Here it will remain till she gives birth. When it goes back up, it usually is within 12 hours before they head into 2nd stage but it can be as long as 24 hours. This means I will be watching her all night and Nathan will go to the front room with some of the dogs. He will get sleep. Me, not so much or not at all. I was hoping she was going to have them today and it progressed as fast as Ella. Oh well.
hahaha she is going to keep us on our toes. Good news I am starting to feel recovered.
Well her temps are back up so not a true drop yet unless I missed it. She is not eating breakfast but that could be anything. Last night Dennis and I reorganized the entire room to fit Saffron's xpen in here and allow Dennis to have a recliner in here. You can't stand up all night.
It was not easy as it was this recliner that kept confusing us.
We have everything set up except the heat lamp and the camera. We will complete this when Dennis gets up. We need to find a network cable.
I stayed up late to help and finally Dennis said go to bed, mom. I will do the rest. He really did a great job. It is impossible to get a great angle so you can see.
I am glad I have cameras to see the areas no matter what room I am in. when I started acquiring cameras, it gave me the ability to watch always and record etc.
I am not sure where to put the stack of blankets for the pen. But I guess it works for now. In 4 weeks after the Stormy pups go home and these 3 litters are merged, we will be back to a couch, recliner and a ton of room. Good thing this is an extra large room. If my desk wasn't in here we would have a ton of room. LOL
I have placed up blankets to lend a perception of safety for the pups for Cinnamon and Ella. I will put up another blanket between Ella's and Saffron's pen to lend the same.
I spent off and on all day getting everything set up so we could accomplish this before Dennis got up. We also had to have more pen delivered and each panel had tape and protection over it that had to be cut off and removed. I also had a 3 hour dematting after leaving a onesie on after spaying. Please folks remove it daily and comb out. Yesterday was another day that was not fun.
We shall see what Saffron does today - her 1st day due and take it from there. I could use today as a less busy day. Snow is coming. I got grooming and Shlomo needs to be washed.
98.9 - Not low 98s yet but who knows what tomorrow brings.
The normal body temperature for dogs is between 101F and 102.5F
I have been working hard trying to get things ready. Dennis needs the recliner to relax in so we are truly trying to figure out room. It's not been fun.
I told Nathan never again like this. He's lost his mind. Only thing though is a summer off. Now I can handle that!
Hoping to not stay up too late getting this figured out.
We are in a holding pattern. Hoping it is Tuesday - just because!
I think Saffron is happiest when she us pregnant. She sure tries very hard to get that way.
Twelve more days and xrays.
Date for xray is Jan 24th. Nathan is making an appointment today for all 3.
Yes, morning sickness and all. She is due around February 1st but maybe January too.
Yep - she has it.... Did you expect her not to be pregnant?
I think she did the dance more times than any other. Now we wait. I know she is pregnant. She covered all her bases to make sure she was. LOL
Saffron November 23, 2018 heat Due Feb 1st if early (go home date April 12)
Yep 1 extra day than Cinnamon in ties. We will see what tomorrow brings.
