Ellie Update

Hi Darlah & Nathan

Ellie is a joy!  We have been having so much fun with her and she is so cuddly. 

She was at Dr. Tsang last week for her second shots. Dr. Tsang was very happy to have another Talemaker patient and said Ellie has the sweetest personality.

Yesterday she had her first bath and was so good. I have been brushing her every day and she is very calm about it. Amazingly she just lies down now. 

She is comfortable on the leash now and I am debating when to start transitioning to outside for bathroom breaks. 

We start Who’s Walking Who class next week. Looks like Nami and Ollie will also be there which is great.  She seems to respond best to praise and is not highly treat motivated. She turns up her nose at the the beef training treats but does like the Fromm Blueberry LoL. She responds best to our son Karl but he doesn’t want to do the class so I guess it will be me there.

Unfortunately Dr Tsang cut her nails so that took away my excuse for her to visit with you LoL.   Can we arrange a visit with you some time soon?  I think it will be good for  her. I don’t think she needs any hair trimmed yet but not sure.

Kitty Update

Hi Darlah,

Kitty has a new friend.  She loves her hedgehog.  Out of her 20 or so toys this is her new favourite.  Not spoiled at all!!!  She's loves exploring the yard.  Ants just fascinate her.  In the house she enjoys some downtime on one of her many beds and seems to be watching tv at times.  A real joy!

Logan Update

Hi Darlah!

I just wanted to give you an update on Logan.  He is wonderful!  He had his first vet appointment last week.  We followed your advice and didn’t take him to the puppy playtime class.  We will after he gets his shots on July 20.

Logan is a good eater, loves playing by himself and with the girls.  Tanner has finally accepted that Logan is staying, and he is not running away from him anymore or at least not as much 😊.  He loves to sit with us in the backyard, more now that is not as hot.  Here are some pictures,

I got some videos from Bailey's agility class tonight.

Today was a big day for her. She had rally class for an hour, a visit with my friends and their dog for an hour, and then agility class for an hour. She did so well and I'm so proud of her!

Ollie Update

We took Ollie up to Lake Wilcox boardwalk this afternoon (sitting in my purse lol) for a little socializing today - got caught in a stray rain shower so that was fun. 

Anyway, thought you might like to see him playing fetch with Julia - he loves his bottle of Rosé 💗🥂🤣

I can't believe the last one has departed and she has the longest trip.

Teddy's New Family

This is a wonderful couple who own Charlie. Teddy is their 2nd dog from us. Charlie came in playing silly crazy with the pups but especially Teddy. It was wonderful to watch and you will see in the few videos I took.

Yes, they were playing inside. At least the last to go tomorrow is at 10am so it should not be so hot.

I love it when you get the 2nd. They become the best of buds, bros, brothers and well here is to many years of smiles. That's why we do this!

Kitty's Last Bath

As you know we had a dog named Katsura and we used to call him Kitty Kat. Now we have a Kitty going home that will be called here kitty kitty no doubt.

She is a diva or so she told me. Hot air blowing - really? Drying me - really? Bath - no problem. Water no problem but hot air?

This will be the last puppy departing tomorrow. Kate cancelled (Treasured mom due to heat) so we will be swimming I suppose and trying to forget the fun for a day and setting up things for Raven.

This puppy has a long drive home. We did this drive with dogs all the time so it should be okay. We will miss this one and hope they vacation in Toronto or when we go to Ottawa we can connect.

How did we ever get through 15 pups with such ease and fun. No issues - no one trying to be boss. Curious and playful and loving. Someone said moms must be like you glad all the work is done. I will be glad to have less work but boy we miss them madly. Moms do too so we distract them. They get indulged. They are special as it is due to them and all their hard work that you have an amazing loving pup. Our moms - well they are special beings. So happy to hear about their journey. Less work. Sad to not have that fun but we play catchup. I may even get my couch outside. It is an outdoor one.

Hot it was again but we are getting conditioned - no not really. LOL

The kids were great with Ollie and the pups as you will see in the gallery before departure.

Ollie is a happy go lucky, fun puppy. But just as we all were, He was tired from the heat too. They would rest, walk through the ice and try to play again. I am going to miss his waggy tail. Leti does make grand pups. I am ever so glad he lives close as that may mean we will see him.
