Coco's New Family

It's late, I know but due to Kai's class we just finished and I am now updating the blog.

We hope Coco had a good trip home. Tomorrow Dexter departs.

Dexter's Last Bath

Oh my gad he is delightful. He was a riot in the bath.

Dexter departs tomorrow and Coco departs after Kai's class tonight. As this is Kai's last class, we did not want to cancel. 

The pups are now upstairs running around like banshees.

We did a video - a comic one trying to take their weights. The one that is remaining is the smallest but she's the same size as one from Leti's last litter and none were undersized. So we are crossing our fingers. At the moment Leti is only 9.5lbs. I would love her to be in the high 10s or 11s as she is a smaller boned gal. 11 is a pipe dream. 10 is not. 

I expect the pups to be average size and weight unless we have some food hounds. Then a slow bowl will come in handy. 

We will have 2 blog updates but the one featuring Coco will be extra late as she departs late.

Coco's Last Bath and More

Have to laugh as I had Coco and Nala switched. But I looked at my paper and my earlier posting and I had everything right except telling Lily's mom that Nala was Coco. I need sleep, me thinks. But this is Coco and she had a bath. She did not like the dryer in her face. But she liked the bath itself.

After Coco, on Friday The tri boy Dexter departs. On Saturday Charlie and Nala departs and Spirit remains. This week - so many changes for us and the families.

After they got soaken wet as things are melting out there, they headed upstairs to play. Here is the gallery.

Pups are sleeping right now.

Leti is aware of the changes and is staying close. She will be happy to have Spirit remain. She won't realize that till next week as it usually takes a few days to know they are not heading out. It will all come together.

Then shots, classes and all the fun stuff that happens with pups. 

We do hope that when they have drop in classes for the pups are whos walking who that some of you can come too.

Lily's New Family

Can you believe the first puppy has departed? They quietly played. Leti was a bit out of sorts but she will be okay as she has one staying. Her previous litter, they all departed. Now she gets to have one remain and I am positive when she figures it out she will be delighted.

Tomorrow we wash Coco to depart on the 15th. By Saturday all but Spirit will have departed. This room here will be transformed into a familyroom again where we watch tv too. Xpens will come down till the next time. 

Leti is an OUTSTANDING mom. Her hair will grow back. She will relax and focus on one vs. many and soon it will be warm weather, pool time and she can teach Spirit so many things. 

Last Bath For Lily

Lily had her last bath before her departure tomorrow. We are going to miss her. She has such a wonderful personality. Here she is looking at me saying - really?

Sometimes I think it is easiest for the 1st to go but one will be remaining so there will not be a last. 

They played outside. They played upstairs. They truly had a blast. This is the last full day as 6.

We are heading to class with Willow tonight - a puppy Gymboree drop in. So blogs may be late but I am trying to get them done early.

So Funny

Yes, this pup (Lily) is sitting down, Thought it was a riot. She will be the first to depart so her bath comes Monday. She departs on Tuesday. Then Thursday it will be a crazy day. We have Kai's last class and when we return home Coco will be departing. So it all begins.

Dennis said to me I think they are they smartest pups of yet. I laughed. He is quite smitten. They think he is amazing. So, they have a mutual lovefest. Next Sunday this room will get a couch, the recliner, tables and the xpen goes away.

They are playing more and more with the adult dogs. It is amazing how quickly they go from crawling to now. Well, it feels that way at times. They sail through the air pouncing on siblings. 

Nathan has been feeding Spirit outside of the pen conditioning her to eating with Kai and Willow. By next Saturday night she will be in bed with us cuddled in to hopefully Willow and Kai. We shall see.

Dads Are Fun Too

Stone is an amazing dog. He plays with the pups, the adults and visitors. The pups just loved their time with him.

Well Snow This Weekend

The pups LOVE the snow. They do get cold but we watch and we take them right in when those paws are lifted. They can really run fast. they are truly amazing little ones. 

The first one, Lily (tri with double mask - white) will go home Tuesday so she will be getting a bath late Monday. Good thing they didn't start going home this weekend with the snow they are predicting but still the weather people are always wrong. How much we get is debatable and I would love to dig out paths before they depart to have that experience with them. We shall see.

The pups just came in from outside. It is getting deep for them, I am told and now I can hear them running like crazy upstairs. They are truly a bunch of delicious pups!

In or Out Snow Fun

It's a riot. They all played their hearts out while outside then it got cold and they found the door. Funny how that works.

As we have had a terrible winter of deep cold we never thought we would get the dogs out to play but they are out daily and love it!

As the 1st one departs in 5 days that means they have had inside and outside experience and I like that.

Snow Face

Snow face and all the puppies loved the white stuff till they got too cold. We watch for signs of lifting and then we take them in. They still had their play on this morning and went from outside to upstairs. They are soon to go upstairs for a big play session.

I have to say that the pups are jumping further and really having fun sliding down the snowy stairs outside and when they have had enough they leap through the air. I am really glad we keep having semi warmer weather so we can enjoy the snow times

But it's supposed to be -22c tonight so there goes that fun till the next lull. 

The first puppy departs in 6 days. That means a bath in 5 days. 

They are really growing up and are truly fun pups filled with such loving natures. I noticed their legs are getting longer - not a ton but I can see they are growing.
