Pay Attention

Look at how all eyes are on Nathan. They do this to me too. They love when you play with them. This crew is so highly engaging.

This crew is now coming out twice a day but of course we climb into their area and play with them and with a few of us here they get some fun play which means deep sleep inbetween. 

This is going to be such a fun journey. Oh and the black and tan gal - well we have to close the pen now as you will find her wandering around.

Leti's Pups 5 Weeks Old

Oh the pups are wonderful. I had them upstairs myself after they kept trying and succeeding in escaping from their sleeping area. Have to laugh at this crew.

They seem to be a mighty agile group. They play, they sleep and they do it all again.

They are now eating softened kibble. They are not crazy about it yet. Some have teeth but not all. They are teething like crazy.

Can't wait till we can take this crew out in the snow.

These pups are downright fun and the littlest gal - she's a riot. But I have to say every single one of them does a tada, I am here waggy waggy tail happy thing. I just love it!

I can't wait to share these pups with their owners to be.

The Leti Crew

They are really something else. they go wandering here and there upstairs. Nathan puts up a blanket to block them from teh Adele and Jeannie crew and they go right under it to see them. Dennis had them outside the pen and they were giving kisses to the 2crew. I have to laugh.

Upstairs with Human Darlah

I so enjoy puppy time when it is too busy. It's fun to watch and see them being silly and watch the accomplishments.

Nail Clipping and New Play Area

Today the pups made it to the hall upstairs and they didn't blink an eye. They just looked around, played and had a blast. What a crew.

I am impressed at how easily they go from one environment to the next. Leti remains as a doting mom. they want for nothing. I just love our play sessions upstairs. Even though I am extremely (that's an understatement) busy my time with the 2 crew and leti pups are valued and then when I finally roll into bed, I just love the hugs and snuggles I get in bed. So, even though I keep singing the song - I am only human -  the dogs give me an infusion.

The pups also had their nails clipped. They sorely needed it as they were getting stuck on everything. You will see it in teh video when it finally arrives online.

4 weeks 2 Days Old

We had a great play session upstairs. When things calm down we will start doing 2 play sessions a day.

1st Play Session Upstairs

In amongst the 8 dogs I washed and trimmed today, we had a play session with the leti pups them I also had a play session with the 2crew. It is a long day as you can see from my blogging now. Tomorrow is the same so please understand.

How did they do? Amazing! No fear. They explored and lasted a long time. Tomorrow we will do it again. They truly enjoyed the experience.

Mommy Leti continues to steal their food so at times we lock her out so they can eat, heh

4 Weeks Old Today

I am hoping by tomorrow we can get these guys upstairs. I just have to slice out some time to do so. They are doing really well with their food. They gained anywhere from 1.5oz to 2 oz in a 24 hour period after having access to the food. Wow.

I don't have to coax them. They simply go over and eat when they want and look at me as if to say where is the food when Mommy Leti steals it. They also do rather well on the floor.

Food Time, Floor and Play

Leti pups had their first taste of food. Check out the videos to see how they did. I was alone so now sound but you can see them!

The pups are amazing. Today they ate and ate and ate till their tummies were round then after they ate a significant amount Mommy Leti stole the rest. I am going to have to lock Leti out when I feed them food. LOL

I also expanded their pen and left flooring exposed and no issue. Yes, they can walk just fine on it. Dennis thought I needed something for them to stand on to eat but the flooring easy for them to maneuver on. 

This is their 3 week 6 day old blog and tomorrow for the New Year they will be 4 weeks old. They keep going like this I will be taking them out for their own play sessions.
