Adele at Vets

Nathan has been with Adele at the vets all day. He is now on his way home. I have never not been able to be with our dogs when they are sick. So, this is hard. But Dennis had to sleep and someone had to watch the dogs. Thanks to Dani, our grand daughter for the help.

They did an ultrasound and pups are active but one is very large. She was vomiting and has had an upset tummy for 2 days. I didn't like her gums so I asked Nathan to take the drive in. He hates going alone.

They are hydrating her and we will call in the morning. She will remain at the vets.

We have a puppy going home so if we can pick her up, I will go in and Nathan will remain for the puppy depature. Hopefully he will take photos and videos and juggle. The last one is a joke but that is how it will feel, I imagine.

So, Adele is not in labour and pups are okay but they are trying to settle her stomach and give her needed fluids. They also took tests to make sure she is okay. More tomorrow.

Poor Adele, she will feel better once they get fluids in her. Hope all is well and she will be home tomorrow right as rain. Is it too early to do a C section if need be?

Thoughts are with you, Nathan and Sdele. its hard enough to be separated from your dogs at any time, I can just imagine how hard when she's close to giving birth. Glad they are all ok and hope all continues to be along with a smooth birth.

I am so sad to hear that Adele is at the Vets. Very hard to ever leave your dog overnight at the vets never mind a Mom to be. I hope that the hydration will help her.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Nice that Dani could step in and help out with Jeannie and her pups.

Bonus I am running a fever. Got to love it. It's really hard leaving her there. Dani helped out with the older dogs but midstream she got sick and it was just me till Dennis got up. It's been a long day.

c-section wasn't suggested and hope it isn't.

Oh Darlah...get your little self off to bed, get some vitamin c into you, some chicken soup and sleep!!! You can't be sick! Adele will be fine and home tomorrow after fluids and rest.... You get an extra hour of sleep too! Hugs.

OMG Nathan, stay healthy. Hoping everything sorts itself out to-morrow.
Adele looked very uncomfortable in the photo on the blog. I hope she feels better to-morrow. It is worrisome for sure.

I am so sorry to hear about beautiful Adele. It is hard to leave them at the vet but she is in good hands and now you have to be good. There's never a good time to be sick but this is so bad that the flu is going through the household. Hope you can all get some sleep tonight and I look forward to hearing good things about all of you in the morning. Good night and be well.
