Pepper's New Family: 3 Updates Today

Are we excited or what? Rebecca was so excited she left her fanny pack here and had to return to get it. I get that. When you are focused on the pup, who needs your purse. LOL I can relate.

I want to thank you for the lovely gift. I may drink it all after the pups are gone. We so love chocolates too - well Dennis and I do. Nathan indulges in cookies but he doesn't want us to know. That's okay. He did eat some of the chocolates and left me the dark ones. It was a refreshing dessert. Deepest appreciation.

Jersey's New Family: 3 Updates Today

Well they came. They played (had fun) and departed. First one to go.

It was a warm day but not too hot. The pups got their smell on her things to go home. This gives them comfort.

Last Baths

What a funny gal Jersey is holding her hands up as we are taking photos. She also laid in the tub cooling herself off.

Last 2 Days as 7

Pups had thunderstorms to get conditioned to. They had torrential rain. It was also mighty muggy. It was a good experience and they didn't miss a beat.

Dennis will tell you mother nature thought of him as the pots got watered without him.

I do relaize that the pups do not mind the rain unless it is coming down in buckets. I think us humans feel that way too.

Wet Play

The pups came out to heat so I decided to give them a quick swim and not use a towel so they could cool off while they played.

No photos of the swim as it was just Dennis and I. He brought the sherpa bags to the side of the pool and handed one at a time to me. They swam then went on the deck to run around soaken wet. they lasted a long time as I guess it was refreshing. I also brought Sage and Spirit in and left then soaken wet.

We had the Sable and Cream gal decide to jump down 2 stairs. You will see it in the video. She didn't hurt herself and even went to try it again till I stopped her. The littlest seems to do it all the time on anything and everything. They are seeing what they can do. They seem to have no fear. I do not like them jumping like that as I am afraid they will hurt themselves. This crew is ever so agile.

As we have 2 pups departing on Thursday, I have much to do. One is the cream and Sable gal who will be named Jersey and the other is the black tri who will be called? We are promised a name timorrow. Must have it then - please!

Morning Visit Sunday

No rain but it was muggy. The pups didn't last long unfortunately but hopefully long enough. The pups are great and really into this fun. Thank you all for coming this entire weekend. We had clear skies with threats of rain. Thank you to the ones that dealt with the rain and flapping curtains.

A Puppy Visit

There were a few people that could not come tomorrow for very good reasons so we accomodated them today. The morning visit was rainy and we were a bit confined to directly under the gazebo with the walls down.

Videos will make it up in a bit. I have a dog to do a spa day for as she departs at 8pm so it will either be before or just after 8m.

Pups start going home I believe on the 1st. As the pups are one week apart, we can do a tad earlier on the younger set as they have met the challenge of coming up to the older guys. You really can't tell age difference now at all.

As this is 5 days till the 1st puppy departs and so much has to be done - we need to get pups assigned right away. So, nathan will work on that after tomorrow's visit.

Puppy Visit Cancelled

Due to rain we will be changing this to Sunday - tomorrow as per health regulations we can't have people in the house. Let nathan know if this is an issue and we will try to figure something out. This throws my schedule off but we can't control covid restrictions nor Mother Nature.

Rain or Shine

Tomnorrow is our visit and it may rain but we are all on for the visit unless it is pouring so hard you can't see. We will figure it out. Sage's pups start going home soon so it is not like we can skip a week.

So They Swam

Here is the gallery of them swimming today.

It was as if they were meant to be swimming. They didn't miss a beat and Mommna Sage was watching them all closely as a proud momma. Nathan had to tell her to go on the otherside as all you could see is Sage.
