Archie's New Family

Archie is on his way home. He has a bit of a drive so I hope it goes smoothly. I will miss him. The herd of dogs - ooops pups are gone and we are now down to a mini crew.

Sully's New Family

Last Baths Before Departure

This is Koda. She is the 1st to depart tomorrow. She is such a kissy dog but I think she gave me a stink eye with the dryers, LOL That's okay. We played and she went oh this isn't bad. What an exquisite face she has. Her eyes always look like they are so happy.I guess because she always is.

We are going to miss her and these pups madly. We are already feeling it but all those that are home are quite happy!

This is Watson. I don't care what you throw at me. Just make it fun and well that's the way I roll. Got to laugh.

If you look at the photos, for a moment he looked like he was saying can I make a jump to the floor so I can go play? It was a fleeting thought, I am sure. My blow dryers are pretty windy but he didn't mind and I have them blowing from 2 directions.

Yes - we will miss this soul - an an old soul - wise and fun!

The next puppy that is going home is  Sage pup - her last. You will have to look at her blog to see whom.

Also, Luna departed so scroll down to see that. We still have Sully and Archie to go so we will be adding them in after departures. Archie will go home at 6pm so I will start blogging them at 730ish.

Luna's New Family

As it is a rushed day, we didn't get enough time with Ronnie. We consider this family dear friends. I had Tenshi to get washed, blogs to do, pups to wash and more pups getting picked up. Sully is next at 3. Just enough time to finish a few blogs?

In Order of Departure

Here is the Luna. She is going to live with Rusty. She will have a built-in brother when Rusty realizes she is staying. She is such a character and I know we will get to see her so that's a good thing imho. Rusty comes for grooming and play so we will see Luna too. We so love to see them!

Sully was so enjoyable in the bath. As you can see in this photo, she is mega relaxed.

They are so going to enjoy her and she will be missed but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't miss them all. They have been some great pups.

I so love Ms Sully's face. It's so Cinnamon. She crawled up into my neck today and fell asleep. What an amazing feeling that was!

I had to post a photo of Archie with his ear flapping back. He has an engaging personality that you can't ignore. He is so loving! He's no longer eating my socks. He was relentless early on where I had to put on slippers but he's smart and he learned. As a matter of fact he listens quite well and that brain is always working. He is such a lover.

Cheeky and Slacking

We are slacking as we are so busy and will remain so till Monday. Hope you understand. This is Watson. He is being cheeky with his mom.

Departures and Fun

This is Daisy. She departs on Sunday and is actually the last to depart and Rebel will remain. I am glad that we didn't have a lone one hanging out as their transition is more difficult. When they remain extra time, the last one always has a longer leap to the forever home as they adapt to life here as a grown up puppy. You can't have them sleep alone.

This time Daisy, Juno and Rebel will have their last night together as a trio till they go on their forever journey. Just because Rebel remains, she too will have changes to adjust to.

Oh the Play of It

We thought about going out but it was simply too cold. The pups played in the hall and in the kitchen and in the familyroom. They had a blast. They now have long play sessions 4 times a day and have for sometime. It is important to expel their energy so they sleep well. The more they play, the longer they sleep.

They need toys and bones to chew on as they are still teething. baby teething toys that freeze are great too. This will conclude. The teeth will fall out and then the adult teeth come in. You may find teeth on the floor or they swallow them without you noticing them. It won't harm them but if you notice missing teeth and can't find them... Well now you know!

Getting Ready

I am getting the bags ready and so my time is well taken up. Still got a number of tot bags to complete then their kerchiefs, dog tag and whatever I have time for. LOL

Don't worry, I remove any residual dog hair. LOL

Pups have been playing like crazy. Next ones to go home on Thursday are Keke (Sage) and Benjamin (Sage). Everyone but Rebel will have departed by Sunday. I can't believe they are this old.

Play and Eat and Sleep

I caught Ms No Name trying to climb out of the pen. The rest just played. See the videos where she just jumps and jumps and jumps.

Mr. Watson is a thinker. He watches then he pounces. He likes to create a strategy at times. Sometimes he just goes with his heart. He had so much fun today that he was the 1st to fall asleep tonight. They are all sleeping at the moment. have to catch shut-eye so you can start all the fun again!

Playing Heading Into Last Week

By the 20th the last will have departed other than Ms No Name from Spirit. It's hard to believe as that si 10 days from now. We will take things down maybe on thge 21st and rearrange things. It's going to be a huge change for all of us.

The Names and Fun Of It

This is Sully with her mom. We also have Koda, Juno, Watson, Archie, Luna and Daisy.

They played like crazy after the outdoor snow and then took a very long nap. Just like us, the more energy they expel the longer they sleep.

The pups are heading into the long stretch with the last departing on the 20th, I believe.

You are going to LOVE these pups.

Missing

The moms are going to miss this. They always do. It's a lot of work for them but after they depart they are like us - wondering what else to focus on. It's a crazy process. But then we get to concentrate on Nathan.

I will miss them but we will smile with updates. We hope to see them again and they will be thrilled to see us and their canine moms again.

Holidays are almost upon us and what a special thing it is to be focused on a new pup vs everything else. You will end the year with smiles. Now how cool is that!

Oh the Fun Of It

Look at the play with the Cinnamon boy. They are perfecting their play skill. There is such a difference from 2 weeks ago till now.

Pups are no longer feeding from moms. They are eating the food well. They will have one more deworming before departing. We do it as a preventative If we don't the vets will and this way it saves you money.

Positive Play

Oh the play of it all...

We make sure the pups have play witha variety of dogs so they have the experience of building skills. They have fun with so many personalities. It's wonderful to watch.

Mom Play and Teach

This time is so critical for the pups as they learn so much from mom. But we are making an exception. We have a SAGE tri boy pup going home on the 13th. They owned a pup from our very 1st litter and due to knowing them and knowing what they need to know about bite inhibition, this one will be the 1st to depart. It seems so early for me but due to the circumstances on needing early - well he will depart then. So that means I best add all that to get done. LOL

When pups go home, they go home with food so do not buy food. They also go home with treats and a number of other things. Bring a sherpa bag large or another brand carrier to pick up. They will feel comfie as they are used to travelling in a bag.

Can I Get Up Too

The pups are funny and today the stairs were down in the guestroom  and up they all ran on the bed. You should have seen me handling that all by myself.

Moms are learning to save their milk stations they are now sittinh on high till they get over thinking mom is a fedding being.

Short blogs tonight. Dennis is taking them out upstairs again. Me, I will be uploading the videos starting as soon as this blog appears.

Vet Visit

She weighs 3lb 10oz and was the calmest being. What interestimg markings she has. You can see them even more as she stood on the table.

This is the brindle boy. He weighs 4lb 8oz Even on the table he was fun. You could just smile and smile.

This is sable long line. She weighs 4lb 2oz. She just kissed up the vet. How funny!

This is her tri gal and what a pretty pretty face. She weighs 3lb 6oz.

This is the littlest boy and he played catchup. He weighs 3lb 8oz He snuggled with the vet and she melted.

This is 1st born. She was so confident on the table. She was not happy about the microchip and I get that. She weighed in at 4lb 2oz

This is short line. The short line is actually almost gone but she will always be short line to me. She weighs 4lb 4oz. She was absolutely wonderful and was the last one. Then the vet was gone and the pups played and played and played. No they are waiting - as it took me so long to do the blogs, galleries etc that they now want out again.

Oh the Vet Tomorrow

Tomorrow the vet comes. They get a checkup, microchip and their vaccinations. Then the process begins in getting everything ready fo the departure.

We ordered the food we send home with you. We have to get the bags ready. I am not sure if I have everything but I best check this week. It's a busy time. Nathan is so hoping he can be a part of it. We will see how it all unfolds.
