I looked at the Misty pups at 12 days old to compare weights and they are pretty consistent but Raven's will be shorter in length as that is what is in that line.
Misty's eyes open was early. I am not seeing slits in these pups yet. Misty's opened at 11 days. Early or late it doesn't matter. They can just see so activity begins.
At birth, a puppy’s central nervous system is still developing, including their optical nerves. Because their optical nerves aren’t fully developed, they’re too delicate for bright light—which is why their eyes remain shut until the nerves are finished developing. That means they open when it is time.
I will let you know when I see slits.
