I do believe she will be the 1st as she has her mucous plug slowly coming out. We shall see. Well that turned out to be funny. Misty beat her to the debut.
I guess it is time to start taking temps. If we go into labour, Raven and the experience takes precedent so groomings would have to be rescheduled.

Raven is chilling. We had to set up this room differently as I have limited space. So, for now the ottomon is up against my desk and that is what Raven is laying on. Tomorrow xray.
This is the space that Raven most likely will use. I have cords that I have to hide and figure out. I have more hand towels and face cloths to get ready. Cameras and heat lamps are all set up.

Raven is a truly quiet and laid back gal. She loves the pups. She is highly maternal. It will be interesting to see how many she has. She seems more imminent than Misty but we shall see.

Raven, Saffron and Willow were playing today. Raven's tummy is pronounced.
If it was just by the 1st time they tied that is when you count to the due date, Raven would be a day ahead of Misty but that is not how it works. Usually you take the longest tie, count 58 to 63 days and you may and I say may have a due date.
So, the last week we wil start taking temps. When it drops to 98, most times it is 12 to 24 hours later. But if you see they are nesting, you are most likely not dealing with a false drop. They come when they come.

She looks larger than Misty but looks can be deceiving as Misty is longer in body. Raven is such a cutie and has such a laid back personality.
She is due the 11th on.

Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 8:33AM Raven and Stone tied at 815am - finished at 834am. Only Misty is in heat that can be bred and we will be attempting to do that as well. We will see if anyone else comes into heat. But here we go again. :-) Hopefully the pups will come after nathan is fully recovered.

We will miss this guy. It's hard when one hangs around extra time on everyone - us, mom. Mom starts to think they are hanging around for the longterm. We tend to fall even deeper. He is such a wonderful boy.
He departs tomorrow. It is supposed to be coat wearing weather tomorrow with rain so we may have to figure out how to stay dry and still do this outside. Due to covid, it must be outside. <sigh> I so tire of covid but healthy we must remain. The dogs count on it!
I think Nathan took a couple of videos. I will get them up.
Tomorrow nami will be the only puppy in Talemaker home. LOL
This was/is an amazing litter. It truly is.
Opus' family is going to love this guy.

Opus really loves Ellie. LOL
They played and played today. She really liked him too. Tomorrow Opus gets a bath and then Wednesday he departs. We will miss him. He has really meshed with the older ones.

He thinks he is one of the big guys - I tell you. It is always harder on the one that stays longer. As we have a different home than many, we immerse them in with the bigger ones and it is great exposure for them.
We only have 1 video of the guy today. Weather has been great. Naps have been good. Eating has been exceptional and pad hitting or outside excellent.

Here are the family photos. I wish Nathan took more photos of the family but he's a tad off. He was placed on new meds and he is now off of it and playing recovery as it really made him feel off. But good news, I did take a lot of videos and photos. I will be placing up the videos shortly after I do the main blog.
Interesting enough Opus took a nap this afternoon and learned that kally was taking one at the same time. Last one - Opus departs Wednesday.

Here is the photos from her bath.
She was great for the bath but swear there are times she gives me the stink eye. I have to weigh her as she has this tummy and I suspect she is gaining well. She's still tiny and will remain tiny but her gains are good.
Now that there is 2 they have been for the most part playing with the adults.
Here are only 5 photos of the duo. It is all Nathan took. I just finished grooming and started at 745am. So, that's all he took. LOL
He also just took a few videos. They are now up. LOL
Tomorrow Kally departs and only 1 remains till Wednesday. He will be out with the adults.
